Why is My General Sterk a White Portion?

Why is My General Sterk a White Portion?

Northerner's web site where I purchased it shows
    it as Original Portion.

    I will write them.

How do white portions compare? I am trying my
    first one now.

    thanks!

I believe General Sterk has always been a white portion.

White portions are dryer, since they don't go through the final wetting process that orignal portions do. They tend to take a little longer to juice up and release nicotine and flavor, but last a bit longer as well.

I personally perfer Original portions, but I do like the occasional white portion as well.

Edit: looks like Northerner and GetSnus have it listed as a white portion in the discription at this point.

And I prefer white portions, it is all just a matter of taste. for me, OP juice up too fast, and feel a need to get rid of it too soon. A white can sit happily in my mouth for 1 - 2 hours plus even.

Seems to be all over the map with some brands being better in OP and others in WP. General Sterk works and tastes great as a WP so I don't miss the option of an OP. The real head bashers like Thunder & GES are all OP for the obvious reasons--quick big nic hits which are perfect for that first-of-the-day springboard into the world.
