As my name will indicate, i am in fact a girl, a law office girl . A lot of people around here will not look very kindly upon a girl "snussin" mostly because they aren't very bright. ithink it's better since my hair now smells like my shampoo as opposed to smoke. I have started with General Wintergreen, but maybe i'm just a sissy and sometimes i feel like its too much nicotine. I also have a pouch of Discreet Cool Mint. If you guys have any other suggestions i would really appreciate it. The General was given to me, and the Discreet i found at a local smoke shop. I can't wait to hear some suggestions.

Welcome To SnusOn. Wintergreen burns!!! It's a fact. I recommend trying some traditional flavors, General White and Ettan are both very good. Roda Lacket is another favorite for people just starting out. A very distinct fruit flavor. Thunder Frosted is a spearmint flavor that is high in nicotine and will help ease the not smoking. Wintergreen burns not from the nicotine, but the flavoring.

Yes, Jackobsonns Ice Fruit. It's a little salty, but it does taste like Juicy Fruit.

You could try Jakobsson's, but the portions are huge! To be discreet at the office, and for lower nicotine you might like some mini's. General mini mint, Thunder Frosted, Catch Collection, Fellini, and Mocca are all good ones to try.

yeah, unfortunately as the day is progressing and considering i only brought "a" pouch of discreet with me, i am coming to the realization that discreet might not have the "oomph" that i am looking for as far as nicotine goes. im thinking that i'm missing the tingle and feel of the general so i guess i will make my order and get some of those mini mints, and maybe like a sampler pack. :wink:

Kinda tough as you seem to be right on that border about how much nicotine you need.

I would say smart thing is get a smalish order, half minis. And so many great mini choices, whatever you really think looks good to you. Then get a good sampling of regulars too.

I often recommend the Top 10 Box form Northerner as a great starter set to try. Any sampler box would be good though. But most important, don't assume much about what you will like or not. Especially when it comes to non flavored tobacco. many newbies just assume they will prefer flavored snus. they are usually wrong, so try everything.

One last thing. Not just the amount of nicotine in a snus that will affect how it hits you. Also the PH of the snus will affect how much and how fast the nicotine is delivered. Some, like Skruff, release it very fast, hits you in the head. White portions will usually deliver the stated nicotine amount the slowest. So if not sure if regular portions right as far as nicotine, try some white regulars, at least will slow down how the nicotine hits you

hey, I'm still new to the snus world, but i've been through 20 cans of snus, so some ones i like, which i feel a woman might like too.

Roda Lacket-have one in now. fruity undertones, not the smoky tobacco i'm used to, very pleasing.

Goteborgs Rape no.2- a sweet, berry flavor, kinda good too.

Grovsnus- Tobacco, but sorta mellow, balanced and slightly sweet, my favorite basic tobacco flavor.

Try out some 6mg minis if you are in between 8 mg portions and the lower ph discreet minis. I think Oomph has one (Oomph brand hits pretty well in the nic department for their 4mg minis though) and Taboca mini+ should be just about right in the middle. Sage gives wise advice and, at some point, try some los.

I just got a hold of some thunderfrosted and was startin to think it was pretty awesome, however just got a horrible case of hicups that made me not wanna try it again. I will get some oomphs. Thanks for the suggestions they are most certainly appreciated.
