I think im going to place an order tonight through snuscentral. How are delivery time to the us, im headin out of town next week so if it more than 3-4 days i should probably hold off.

I have not ordered from snus cental but with Northerner. I have Northerner ship to my local UPS Terminal c/o of My Name and list my cell number. When the package arrives I pick it up at the terminal as early as 8am and if it went out for delivery to my residential address it could be as late as 7pm, and if no one is there to sign for it the process starts all over again, so I always pick-up at the UPS terminal. My orders typically ship out the following business day. So an order placed on Monday would ship out on Tue and I would typically receive on Thur and I have full tracking capabilities. I have received all of my orders the past year in 3-4 business days from the date I placed my order except for one order that was place between xmas and new years and did not go out to the 1st due to the holidays (and I was pissed btw). If I was in your situation, and snus central can do the same as I do with Northerner I would order today. If I did this I would expect to have my order ready for pick-up on Wed or Thur. Let's say there was a shipping delay, I would get a call from my UPS terminal and I would advise them to hold and I will pick up on X date. This way you either get before you leave or the date you get back rather than place an order when you get back and have to wait the additional time.

Alright...I'll hold off until next week, I have 10 cans of general to hold me over and i'll report back with my thoughts on the Flader and other goodies.

G**damn. I love some of the info I get off of this forum, but it's getting harder and harder to pick out from the Northerner fanboy and the Northerner bashers.

If we could get the fringe on either side to shut the f*** up it might be fun to check in here more than once a month.

I agree...all of the major snus providers get the job done, and none of them are out to scam anyone. Pick your poison and go with it. We want all of them to be successful (stay in business) , so I say spread the business to all of them that continue to meet your needs, as we want more snus providers not less and keep spreading the word to your smoking and dipping friends/associates that there is a better option available that they will enjoy even more.

So...not trying to revive a dead thread but I finally got around to placing an order with snuscentral and received it today. The buffet includes:

10x ettan op
2x roda lacket portions
2x tabocca extra strong portions
2x jakobson flader
1x captain yankee
1x phantom blue
1x oden op
1x skurf extra strong white

First up is the Taboca. Noticing a little more punch from the extra nicotine but nothing crazy, actually it's quite pleasant. Taste wise it's salty right now. I've only been using general products thus far (op and white are great, mint is good to mix it up here and there, wintergreen is awful) and they were the same way for the first few. Seems I need to eat a few before I pick up the different notes in it. Flader is on deck, the strong sour apple smell from it instantly says dessert for me so that'll wait until after dinner.

I know this is a bit late now but I have to say that I have never had much luck with jakobssons snus, I liked the flavour of the Flader but I never seem to get any sort of nicotine from the stuff at all?!? I don't know why this is and I have never heard of anyone else with this problem I just don't seem to be able to groove with the tobacco they use... Cold there be a reason for this??

I think the nicotine is fine in it. Not really sure what to tell ya man, that sucks. The flavor is odd, but i really like it. I feel like my sense of taste and smell battle each other for the 45 minutes or so its in. Can't really think of anything else ive had that does it.

It's a regular nicotine snus Tommy. But it doesn't have an aggressive pH - so the nicotine is released pretty slowly in comparison with some others. The fairly mild flavour compared to some other brands can kid the brain in to thinking that you're getting less than you actually are.
