I agree with that advice for newer users (like myself), I received an "extra-strong" (I don't remember which brand exactly) product in a sampler pack and it literally made my hands tremble within minutes; and I have been a nicotine addict for twenty years. I posted in a different thread I have to be real careful about concealing my use at work so I use mini portions there which give a nice hit, albeit it wears off quickly. If I use those at home I double them up occasionally which is enough to satisfy the cravings. Like yourself, I'd rather get satisfaction from the lowest amount of nic possible.

I'm just hesitant to use high-nicotine products on a daily basis, or recommend that others use them. Considering the OP is a previous e-cig user, his tolerance is likely to be low and an "extreme-strength" product will likely make him ill until he becomes accustomed to the higher levels of nicotine in snus products. Once he can handle them, it's really his choice whether or not to use that much nicotine or not daily. However, once his tolerance builds up to the point where he no longer feels a "buzz," if it's his only snus product around, he may decide to double-barrel them (as many snus users do occasionally). Consider that instead of using two 9 mg portions (which would be 16 mg--still well under 22 mg), he'll be using 44 mg, quite a big leap. That's still well under the amount that'll kill a nicotine-tolerant human, but it's an amount that we've not had time to see how it can affect the body after chronic use. For consideration, take a look at this review that I came across on SnusCentral:
