General flavors help/opinion s needed

Hello fellow snusers....
I only have a local cigar shop, that sells real snus.
They have a 2x2 foot General snus fridge,I count myself lucky for that.

They carry.....GENERAL
mint,mini mint.original, white,lös,andwintergreen...
I have tried them all except mini mint, and wintergreen.
My view is mini mint is just that a little portion of mint....does that sound right?
Next question general Wintergreen......
I wanna try simply for variety, however I don't like the wintergreen moist snuff (dip) US smokeless .
So any opinions on General Wintergreen?
I'm sure there are better wintergreen snus out there.....
But General is what's available to me local and is my only choice
I like the mint...
Does General wintergreen taste like skoal,red seal, or American dip?
Any input would be great ,as I simply would like to try another flavor of snus.
I just didn't wana buy a tin and dislike it like skoal original.
I quit 25+ years of smoking 2½ pks of Marlboro red 100's the 16th of November with snus and nasal snuff,and need variety....,...... any and all help greatly appreciated.......tattooer601

I'm a fan of General Mint. The mini is just a more discrete size. Good for say, meetings at work or something like that. General Wintergreen is not my cup of tea. Yuck

I was in the same boat, tattooer. My local t-shop happpened to be the only one within 30 miles that sold General; they only had Original, Mint, Wintergreen, and Dry Mint Mini. I recently made/received my first order from snuscentral.com (buysnus.com) and I'm so glad I did. Shipping may be expensive but until the Notherner gets their stuff back together, I'd highly recommend Snuscentral/Buysnus.com to find new varieties to try out. As far as your other question(s), General Wintergreen is a more mild wintergreen flavor than most wintergreen "dips." It won't hit you as overpoweringly sweet but you will taste some sweetness to it. Also...it can get a bit old after a while. I bought 2-3 cans of it and after the first one I struggled to get through the others. I like wintergreen, I just can't use it as an everyday snus. General Mint, however, is a great snus to use at least once a day! (maybe more than once)

Whatever you do try the Original. That is the way that real Swedish snus should taste - salty, aromatic, tobacco-ey and bold. If you don't like it then there are the other flavours - but at least you'll know what snus tastes like in it's home country (about 70% of snussers in Sweden use General).

You're very lucky to be able to get it from a store near you!

The WG is similar to grizz WG but not as sweet, I would avoid it personally as its not my cup of tea.

I agree Skell, General Wintergreen was one of the first flavored snus made by SM specifically for the American market and is really, really close in flavor to Skoal Wintergreen. Almost too close, if you know what I mean. ;-)

If you don't like the flavor of Wintergreen dip tattooer........you'll have the same dislike of General Wintergreen.

Mini Mint on the other hand, is pretty good and as others have said, is General Mint......just smaller. ;-)

The good news is I picked up my weeks supply of Original........so in the freezer goes the wintergreen.

i snus the same flavors (at least recently). my first dance was with Gen Winter Portions and i thought it was like kissing a girl who was doing skoal... i like wintergreen but IMHO it's best when super cold, but some people just don't dig it no matter the temp. snus happy!
