Snus flavor / DIP

Hi, can someone please tell me which snus as a good flavor as any dip (Skoal) flavors? I really don't enjoy the taste of general snus. I like jackobsson watermelon and thunder Frosted but i just got 5 cans of Knox Los and 3 of thunder berry blend and i found both of them awful. I really enjoy dipping skoal citrus, berry, cherry, mint and wintergreen. But, as you all know, dipping is pretty dangerous for the health and i prefer do snus as this is less dangerous. Is there other snus than watermelon that is pretty good for me? Thanks !

Jakobsson's Wintergreen is highly comparable to skoal and Copenhagen WG as it is sweet.

I'm surprised you didn't like Thunder Berry. I think it's pretty good. Anyway, Thunder Cool Orange and Coola are pretty good. Skruf Cranberry is really good as well. I would also recommend Thunder's new mint snus if you're one that likes mint.

You will probably like most of the Jakobsson's line as well. Ice Fruit is a fav amongst newbies. I actually have never tried it, but with the parameters you gave, I think you will enjoy it. Their Flader snus is good too. It kinda has an apple taste. Even the Jakobsson's Classic is really good. I'd recommend that for sure.

I ordered Thunder cool Orange and Thunder cool Mint but i did not receive them yet. I will probably get them in 3-4 days since they were ship 4 days after the one i receive 2d (that was ship the July 20).

Did anyone of you tried Soal snus?

I really like Jakobssons Melon and i will surely purchase wintergreen and mint soon.

BTW, thunder berry is not the worst of all but it taste like cranberry, wich i don't really enjoy.

Other question: On a portion can, there is a place on the top of the can that we can open. What is this for?

This is a used portion receptacle, called a 'catch lid' - you can use it if you're out and about, and need somewhere to dispose of used snus :-)

Hey Charles, I think that if you are looking for a snus that tastes like dip you may end up disappointed; they are 2 separate beasts. It's a bit like a wine connoisseur trying to convince a beer drinker that wine is superior to beer or vice versa. Dip gives a really hard burst of flavour and nicotine whereas snus is more mild in the flavour and less hard delivery of the vitamin N (in general). Snus seems to last longer too.

Lös snus will give you a closer experience to dip, unless you are into the dip pouches. Some lös snusses I have seen compared to dip are Probe Whiskey - I suppose the sweetness may be comparable to a straight (?), and Odens Original - see it's review at Northerner.com (I meant to order that last order but had some sort of spasm and ordered the portion instead).

I have not tried a wintergreen snus that I have liked but I haven't tried them all. Thunder Frosted lös is one of my favourites. Perhaps give Skruf Stark los a try - I really like the Xtra Stark but it has been discontinued. For a berry flavour the Gotlands summer snus is an excellent strawberry falvour.

So, basically, what you are saying is that i need to wait until DIP got safer hehe?

I really like the taste of dipping and the feeling and so far, no snus we're better than my worst DIP (straight)
