Snus in your system?

Hi all

im fairly new snus user..used "dip" for many years....my newbie question is..how long will snus stay in you..like feel the effects after u take it out?

I notice with American dip the nicotine effect will be pretty much gone within 15 minutes of taking it out.
How about snus is it the same? or does it stay in you much longer after you take it out

I really haven't noticed. I mean I can go an hour or two without snus easily and even longer if I am not bored or I don't think about it. The withdrawals from snus don't seem to be as nasty as the withdrawals from smokes so I guess I haven't paid attention to this.

About an hour, sometimes I had it in for 2 hours if it's long or white portion. And I dont feel the effect at all except the minutes after I put it in my lip.. or how did you mean?

I rarely feel nic anymore but with my first Oden's Extreme portion...bad memories here...but after I began getting hot and nauseous, I spit the portion out and it took about 30-45 minutes for the icky feeling to subside.

It will depend on the strength of the snus you're using. Like desirexe says, Oden's Extreme and other strong snus can be rough so if you have sensitivity to nicotine you may want to steer clear. I once put a dip-sized amount of loose in my lower lip an almost puked due to the nicotine. Won't be trying that again...

I change my portion or pris like every two hours. If I hit the three hour mark I start to get cravings.

Yea .I dipped kodiak forever ..I lower my dose now ..
I guess I just wanted to know aftr u take ur snus out how long does the snus nic stay in ur system ...id say about 20-30 mins ami corrct .

I've noticed tho the nic hit from snus is more calm n subtle if that makes sence.

After around 30 minutes, the nicotine absorption from the snus prilla/portion reaches its highest peak.

The nicotine stays in your system for about three days from what I've read (small doses though...).

Once we get to know you a little better we will get back to the Tard statement, but most snus peaks around 30 minutes, then fades fast, although the flavor may last longer. They are Kool charts! Although Eric has better things to look at than charts, right Eric?
