First shot at los

I've been trying various portions for the past 4 months now. Everything from General Silver to Thunder Ekstra Stark. So far I've been very satisfied. Never been a smoker or dipper, but do enjoy the occasional cigar. I went to my local cigar shop today that stocks some General products and bought a can of General Los. My first Los and hand bake experience. If you have been using portions and been hesitant on trying Los, you will not be disappointed. It is a much more refined experience. The hand baking wasn't too hard, just a little time consuming. The experience, though, is much more satisfying. The taste is much smoother. Not too strong where it burns your throat, but very tasty. The nic is little slower but very consistent, smooth. With strong potions, they come on strong and fade fast. Los is like going from malt liqour to a fine craft brew. Sure, portions have there place and I will still use them, but Los is going to be my new favorite.

Sure los is a different experience :-) The taste is richer, it lasts longer and getting to chew on tiny bits of tobacco is what makes it the best form of snus....

Thanks for the welcome. I still enjoy portions. Its just a matter of convenience versus experience. I'm going to take LincolnSnuffs advice and try as many different los types as possible.

I have a pris of Roda Lacket in. I think its a great los snus. Maybe pick up a can when you order from northerner.

Løs is the best. I can see you have hand baked. Good! I thought it was extremely difficult in the beginning. After the first can I'd learned it, so now it takes me 7 seconds. I remember how I went over it to fill every crack, and my hands was such a mess. But it is the best snus experience, I'm glad you've discovered that And welcome to SnusOn.

I just tried los recently and I agree. It is much nicer than portions, other than the inconvenience of dealing with odd bits of snus in your mouth and on your fingers.

The first Los I tried I miss-baked and it fell apart in my mouth and I almost vomited. I was angry and thought I waisted my money on it but after I ran out of portions I used a little more los and learnt to love it, it still tokk a little while to bakke properly and spitting it out was a mess but afterwards I got the hang of it. Strangely enough I tend to eat small parts of my pris as time goes by and it only lasts about 30 minutes, it could be because I wasn't baking it properly and was falling apart a bit or maybe I just felt the need to eat it. Im getting a prismaster with my next order of Blue and will try it out then. . . Its been about 6 months since my last loose and I'm looking forward to it.

Los FTW!!!! I only use portions to be discreet + convenience, and also because some flavors I enjoy only come in portion format. Congrats on taking the plunge and welcome to the club. Considering you're enjoying los so much I suggest buying an icetool.

I swallow my gotlands gul prises all the time, hate to waste it. Yeah, it takes some effort to learn to hand bake properly, but once you do, its second nature.

I just baked my first pris.....is that how you guys say it? So far so good......except that the can I bought is best before 2/11/11 . So mad about that.

Well I think I did alright. I packed it pretty tight. Are you supposed to? the flavor is a bit different. Now if I could only get wintergreen and mint los.
