I miss the days when you could just smoke anywhere.
Work is banning all tobacco use

you're right...I shouldn't blame the President. I didn't mean to make him the fall-guy though it appears that way...I simply meant the "health care for all" crap.

BAM. Solved that problem, on to the next one. I feel like a superhero today.
EDIT: I work in the 1950s, as far as I can tell, and literally everyone around me chain smokes. All I am saying, I guess, is that that a little bit of tobacco moderation would be nice, from my standpoint. Please do not take this as me saying that I think your employers actions are anything less than complete and total horseshit.
And...

HaHa! Well it was years ago, and I was definetly living like a rock star. Luckily, I got my head on straight and got motivated. Otherwise, I know I would have been on a course for death or prison. I wouldn't go back to those days, but man did I have a good time. Learned a lot and I think it has made me wiser too.Originally posted by Roo View PostLol @ NonServiam. Are they gonna start testing people for drinking alcohol? And I don't mean on the job either. " A habitual drinker’s blood and internal organs will "store" the alcohol from successive drinking sessions, and it takes much longer—sometimes up to a week—to eliminate enough alcohol from the system to pass a blood alcohol screening." Alcohol is far worse for you than nicotine I would assume. So tell those ****tards if they are going to test for tobacco then they better start testing for alcohol also!

Major and possibly irremedial disconnect here. The anti-tobacco jihad, and there's little reason to call it anything else, has brainwashed the population into thinking that any sort of tobacco use whatsoever is a fearful crime of aggression perpetrated against non-users. Anti-tobacco zealots seem incapable of nuance in any form. Attempting to explain to this lot how much safer smokeless tobacco is in general and snus in particular is an endeavor that would make Sisyphus look like a slacker. We might as well try explaining calculus to a lobster.

by BasseBluesThis has gotten long overdue, but I finally managed to put together a video and a post at creatinker.com from the harvest and curing of my tobacco. I...After a warm and sunny season with a good amount of rain, it's time to harvest and cure the tobacco. A new thing I'm trying for the first time is to cure the tobacco outside only sheltered from the rain. This has prevented most of the tobacco to dry in a green state. If it got dry during the day, the higher humidity during the night and the morning dew made it moist and supple again during the night.
