College football kickoff weekend

Some of you may be college football fans, I, myself an IU (Hoosiers) fan.

What are your predictions of wins and upsets this Saturday?

1. Indiana will blow right by Towson (Tonight).

2. I hope Miami of Ohio will thump on Florida, but I doubt that will happen.

3. Purdue will barely edge right by Notre Dame.

4.Florida State will beat Stamford.

5. Texas will defeat Rice, no problem.

6.Orego State will defeat TCU.

Overall, The Tide will be the team to beat this year.

Michigan will fire Rich Rod at the end of another disappointing season.

I think if he doesn't win 10 games, he's gone. Of course, I wanted him gone after his first year.

You were nicer than me. I couldn't understand how he was hired in the first place and his ass is still there. Hopefully it will start getting better. Under Carr we recruited for an entirely different style of play and Rod tried taking those strengths and making them play to his style instead of slowly transitioning them. (That's exactly why I opposed his appointment in the beginning) Now, most of the players should have been recruited to play to Rod's strategies.

I tried to be optimistic when they first hired him.

I wanted Les Miles, but as it turns out, he might not have been much better.

I'm holding out hope that Jim Harbaugh will be the coach this time next year.
