I was thinking more along the lines of rounding up jews and burning them. Tom, if hitler had any of those things, he would not have lost. If he had contact with aliens, flying saucers, or a stargate, he would have been unstoppable. Instead he suffered a blistering defeat in a cold winter day and shot himself in the face to save himself from the humiliation of having to face up for his deed.


Furthermore, anyone who can have a stargate, flying saucers, and homies from another galaxy yet STILL lose a war is an idiot. So either he didn't have it or he's an idiot. It would be like someone with a gun and a grenade launcher losing to a knife fight with a 6 year old.

I like to read books about Qi Gong (or "chi kung" if you're of the Peking vs. Beijing romanization inclination). But I don't believe in Qi. Yet.

Meditation and acupuncture are hardly mystical. Perharps the terminology used in the eastern methods is, but the medical establishment certainly recognizes these two areas.

I am not personally convinced of anything, though I may be in theoretical agreement with many. I do believe in energy fields, and vibrations, and the potential of psychic power. Certain gems and metals may release a certain energy. Combining things may produce an amplified energy. I really don't know for sure. I have recently became interested in radionics. The idea is to tune in to certain frequencies, of certain things, and people, and direct this energy to a certain objective. www.radionics.org has a lot of info. It seems it started back in the turn of the century mainly as an alternative healing method, but now seems to embrace many metaphysical ventures. I have also read it being related to magick, ritual magick. I am new to this train of thought, but am finding it interesting.

I have always been intrigued by the theory that everything has a resonance and can be triggered when properly dialed in a la Tesla's earthquake machine but not quite in a religious/healing/new age way.

I went through a period from spring through fall 2009 when I became fascinated with all of it, but my interest has faded some since then. I spent hours at Above Top Secret reading about things such as the Universal Mind, Qi, meditation, astral projection, altered states, aliens, ancient civilizations, and many many other things.

The more I mess with and research this radionics, the more it makes sense. I've been running various trends on my machine. Haven't experienced anything measurable, but sometimes I think it's having a subtle effect. Of course it takes time.

Yah these are both medically recognized methods of treatment. At my job I work with nurses who use different national guidelines to decide whether something is medically necessary or not, and the AECOM/ODG guidelines both recognize acupuncture especially. It is not even anywhere remotely in the realm of fake medicine.

I wasn't talking about accupuncture though when I was saying the palcebo effect, though like anything it works better if you think it will. No one can claim accupuncture doesn't work, it's a nationally (internationally too) recognized medical proceedure used for rehabilitation after an injury in the same way you would use physical therapy. Meditation, though normally n something your Dr will tell you to do, is also not mystical necessarily. Meditation is just a way of relaxing which is always healthy for you no matter what.
