Stargate SG-1

so I just started watching this on Netflix. I've been trying to find a Lost/Heroes replacement after I blazed through Prison Break. it's pretty cool. anyone else into it?

Watched fairly faithfully for the entire time it ran. Good fun. Didn't take itself too seriously and had plenty of comic moments to break things up unlike such as the terminally angst ridden Galactica. The follow on series, which ran concurrently was Stargate Atlantis and pretty much used the same formula. They ran their course but I still catch them occasionally in their infinite rerun cycles. The new, semi-Galactica clone Stargate Universe is just plain godawful. Completely different in tone from its precursors to its extreme detriment.

Definitely, great show. My love for Star Trek (and McGyver[sp]) brought me to Stargate. Never watched Lost, but i have been interested in Heroes although i have yet to start watching it. Prison Break was an awesome show. Fox does have some good ones now and again. I've also been really into Lie To Me lately.

I am A big fan of the stargate series.... SG1 will get you up to speed on some things they talk about in the other 2 , But is not a pre requisit.... watch out it is addictive... I think the best was stargate Atlantis and they now have a new one Stargate universe .... season 1 ended i think about 2 months ago and will continue this fall... I was not happy that they ended stargate Atlantis.. stargate SG1 even came out with 2 movies you can rent when they ended that one to tie everthing up... Enjoy

Heroes and Lost are great. Two truly involving shows. They really hooked me.
