Haven't had one in years, thankfully. I used to pass one every three months or so, they sucked. A doctor friend told me to stop drinking soft drinks, so I did.....and I've only had one since and that was about 6yrs ago.

Good luck, and drink the cranberry juice!

... of the cranberry’s biggest selling points has not been its taste but its much-heralded health benefits. It can help prevent urinary tract infections and reduce harmful bacteria in the urethra, mouth, bladder, and kidneys, and also acts as a powerful antioxidant with antiaging effects, the industry claims.

It's also been reported that cranberries and cherries are good for the gout.
Reportedly helps relieve inflammation, water retention, and swelling of the feet and ankles.

Find some unsweetened cranberry juice. That stuff will put hair on your chest, but it's kind of enjoyable in a weird masochistic kind of way :^D

                    Attention Kidney Stone Sufferers..

                    ~
Just ran across this interesting item:

From Men's Health Magazine | 31 Things You Can Do with Beer (Besides Drink It)

                    Pass a Kidney Stone

As you've undoubtedly noticed, beer is a diuretic.

It helps flush the kidneys and bladder.

This can be beneficial if you're suffering from a bladder infection or kidney stone.

"You can drink water or cranberry juice, but beer also works," says Larry L. Alexander, M.D., medical director of Central Florida Regional Hospital's emergency department.

"It helps dilate the ureters [the tubes connecting the kidneys and bladder], which may help you pass a stone quicker and easier. Plus, the alcohol will take the edge off the pain."

But don't drink beer if you're taking antibiotics or narcotic pain medications. You'll render the drugs useless and make yourself sick.

That's when you stick to the cranberry juice.
