Meet Basil Marceaux, Republican for Governor, Tennessee

He's polling at 1% right now, so that means around 60,000 want this man to be their governor...

I want to end traffic stops and grow vegetation on vacant lots to sell for gasoline. We should all pray amen and salute the flag every morning. Hmm I'll pick him if it's him vs a dem because Thomas J said he who governs least governs best and I don't think he'll get much done.

                From Wikipedia:

A 2010 Republican candidate for governor, Marceaux has campaigned for a recall of gun permits and the banning of law enforcement officers from charging suspects for anything except vehicle moving violations.[1] He has promised to emphasize phonics in public schools and would require high school students to read the minutes from the United States House of Representatives.[1]

His official campaign website on freesitenow.com states "VOTE FOR ME AND IF I WIN I WILL IMMUNE YOU FROM ALL STATE CRIMES FOR THE REST OF YOU LIFE!" and is riddled with other spelling and grammatical mistakes. His campaign video became a viral hit in late July 2010,[2] airing on MSNBC[2] and The Colbert Report.

Lol, this guy is absolute WIN. I can't see the video you posted RobansX, but judging by his wikipedia page, this is starting to look like the british elections lolololol. I mean "VOTE FOR ME AND YOULL BE IMMUNE TO ALL STATE CRIMES FOR LIFE"? BWhahaahahahahahahahaha

So, let's do some math here. There are 6,296,000 people in Tennessee according to the 2009 estimate. The good news: There are 6,233,040 relitavely sane people in tennessee. The bad news: At 1% in favor of him, there are no less than 62,960 batshiat crazy assholes currently residing in tennessee.

Let's take it further. The approximate heat production of Tennessee's 6 million residents is 441 Megawatts of heat annually. This breaks down to .00007 MW per person. If you add up all of the MW used by his supporters, it tottals 4.4072 megawatts of heat created by his constituency.

Do you guys know what this means? It means we could trap all of his constituents in a steam reactor, strap it onto a spaceship, and create a 5,910 horsepower engine!

This republican and his loayal band of idiots could kickstart our space program! See, I told you there was a reason for stupid people in the world. We've been "listening" to them this whole time when instead we should be harnessing them to create kickass drag racers and fly to the moon.

I'd vote for him. Seriously, with all the douchbags we've gotten in office, could he REALLY be any worse? First stop Tennessee, next stop White House! I'll vote Marceaux in 2012 :^D

Someone should try to get /b on the campaign :^D Doubtful they have enough pull for a win, but there may be enough to get him a respectable showing.

Politicians are a special breed of shit heads and while this guy may be a little slow and have bad grammar, he is doing something that 99.9999% of the population wouldn't do. Stand up in a public forum to champion what they believe. Go ahead and make fun of him, but I think he has more balls and good intentions that just about everyone on these boards.

His ideas may be crazy, but hey, give the guy some props for at least trying! Not saying your post was bad at all lxskllr :P
