I stole this thread from another forum i have started frequenting recently. What are some dumb or funny things you did as a child?

I'll start off with what i believe is a gem of my own:

When i was around 5 years old i was jumping on my bed, having the time of my life. What i didn't realize was that each time i landed on the mattress it was sliding further and further off the box spring. I finally landed on an edge that was hanging off. I landed on my ass on an aluminum baseball bat that was on the floor next to my bed. Got a bruised pelvis out of it lol.

I was about 6, and me and a friend decided to try capping a yellowjacket hole. It was my job to place the bottlecap over the hole, and his to push it in place with a stick. I'm not sure why we figured it was a 2 person job, but I got stung on the nose for my effort, and the hole didn't get capped. I think they have 2 entrances anyway :^D

OK, dumbest thing I ever did as a kid. My brother and I were bored as hell one summer, I was maybe 7-8 and he was 9-10. I had one of those paddle balls (you know the ones with a rubber bouncy ball tied by an elastic string to a wooden board), and we saw a gas can for the mower nearby. Flying flaming bouncy ball of doom was the unsavory result of dipping the ball in gas and lighting it on fire. Yeah we didn't think through the whole string melting and the bouncy ball flying all around the back yard. It's minor miracle we didn't burn the house down or set fire to the whole back yard.
