No, my bad...I know that sarcasm isn't easily translated via internet posts. I know, like and have friends of all political affiliations and oftentimes like hearing the "other" side's point of view, doesn't mean I'm going to agree with it or like it. But sometimes, and very infrequently, it will evolve the way I see a particular issue. So keep it up, for we as people are constantly changing and growing...we live in a dynamic world.

The thing that I detest about political debates is that people cannot remain emotionally disconnected, which I understand, because I am a people, lol. I have a core set of beliefs that won't ever change, no matter what other's say. I know that some of you have a core set of values/beliefs that won't ever change...I accept that. All I can ever do is hope to "see things" from your perspective, and that's all I can ever expect from someone when engaged in a political debate/dialogue.

I think I was one of the first ones to bring politics to snuson, but even I feel there is way too many random news threads being posted here lately. If theres some big story I can see posting it, but it seems like every little thing gets posted now. It's like the entire 1st page of People and The World Around Us is all politics discussions lol.

He said this issue should have been dead two weeks ago.

There's a definite radical left fringe on these boards. I'm not even sure where to start with something like this. You should wonder why other "news" outlets do not cover a story involving the President, his highest advisers and bribery. What do they have to do to make the news, assault and battery, homicide? I think the more information the better. Thank God for Fox News, the Internet and talk radio. Without which we would only hear what Ted Turner, GE and the NY Times wanted us to hear. I'm old, I remember. It was bad.

I'm no political strategist, but I'd think the Republicans would find success in offering limited government, lower taxes and a strong national defense. I'm not certain all Mexicans, who like to take it in the ass, favor wealth redistribution and increasing the size and scope of government, but those who do will obviously vote Socialist. So be it.

Most Americans are conservative. The forum would be, if it were representative of America, but it appears we have an abnormally large concentration from leftist centers of correct think. I'd never want to stifle discussion, even if it is ill conceived. But we are inundated with it and I've had enough. I must counter the repetition and respond with fact, reason, logic and truth.
