Ever see the movie Idiocracy? It's really happening.

The Xbox video was hella harsh. That kid, you could see his mind twisting and warping before your eyes. What a cruel and damaging thing to do to a young person. He was emotionally broken. Angry for being tricked, embarrassed for being laughed at, and crushed by the reality that his position in that family holds value as a punchline to a cruel joke.

Bet he gives up and turns into a psychopathic sadistic murderer some day. That whole website made me kinda sick.

Idiots are more easily accessible now.

30 years ago, I could only see the idiots who lived relatively close to me.

Now with the power of the Internet, reality TV, etc, I can see and interact with idiots around the world. Thus making it seem like there are suddenly more of them.

You make a good point. But I think that there are much more idiots now because of the internet, they can now contact idiots from farther away and breed with them. Before, they were only able to breed with the idiots in their area.

Re: Xbox, they went out of their way to find an xbox container, then (as seen in the video), the kids sees it and is like omg an xbox!! and they'r like yah open it up lol, and you can freeze frame right at the moment his little heart breaks and sees nothing but clothes inside the xbox. Imagine this moment. As you unwrap it, you think of all the games you will play, how your friends can play them with you, how cool the whole things is, you love your parents and life is starting to look great, butterflies flutter in your stomachaaaaaaand it's gone. LOLOLLO it's cruel on so many levels. I would have doubled up on it and said "we were just playing, we got you a PS3 instead, then do the same exact trick with a PS3 box.
