I'm a huge Johnny Cash fan. He's my favorite musician, and I love his diversity. Some of my favorite work of his is with Rick Rubin, because everything he did was with no boundaries, no restrictions, and he didn't have to keep up with the "country music machine" in Nashville.
His new album is great. I'm 4 tracks in and I'm just amazed that at that age, on his deathbed, these last tracks he recorded before he died were this good.
American VI: Ain't No Grave is amazing. If you're a JC fan or not, you should check it out.
