Yet another Texan

Hello!

I just registered after a week of lurking and learning. Figured I'd go ahead and sign up and introduce myself.

Im from East Texas and am 32 yrs old, Male.

I got into Snus the day before Thanksgiving to quit smoking... I must say that its worked well. Not one cigarette since.

I started out on Camel SNUS and recently got my order in from BuySnus. I have been enjoying it. I got a mix and match roll of portion and loose. I have found that I prefer loose snus, but will continue to buy and use portions for when Im on my job as they are discreet to use.

Other than enjoying Snus, I smoke hookah (nargile) and collect, repair and shoot firearms as a hobby. I hang draperies, blinds and wall hangings for a living as well as design and configure hardware for draperies on a custom level.

Anyway... just wanted to say HOWDY real kwik in here before moving on and posting some newbie questions in the other topics. I'll try to search out existing threads as best I can as not to clutter the place up with a bunch of FNG type questions.

Welcome to the forum. I wish you the best of luck in beating the cigarettes. I started snus four months ago and quit smoking for good at that time.

Good to see another! I'm livin in San Marcos but am originally from Corsicana. No one knows if Corsicana is east Texas or Central Texas. So... I guess I'm from your neck of the woods... sort of.

Corsicana is about an hour drive... been there a few times. Good Briar Pipe shop there. Probably carry a bit of snus.

... another Texan here... currently living in exile in NC, though... spent 37 years in TX. San Antonio, Giddings, Quitman, Cameron, Beaumont, Houston, Spring and many years in Austin. Can't wait to get back.... probably in a couple years when my wife gets out of school. I miss it.
