    The gym thread

So I recently decided to start working out again, after nearly a year of literally no exercise of any kind. I bought a gym membership and have been going for about a week.

Anyone else work out? I was wondering what kind of supplements, if any, you use, or what you have found to be effective.

    Right now i'm taking:

*GNC vitamin pack with he basic vitamins, L glutamine, an energy supplement, amino acids etc

*Micronized protien and related amino acids for absorbtion

    *Creatine 5mg

I figure that's the basics to start out with, but i've never really used any suplements so was wondering if anyone has tried anything else that works.

I don't like busy gyms so I just do a little working out at home. My wife and son go to the Y probably 4 times per week. My wife and I take the GNC Mega Green multi-vitamin and I take some D3. My son is on the gummy vitamins with DHA.

I do remember creatine helping a bit with work outs in high school football. But I haven't lifted real weights for a long time. I stick to cardio and push-ups/sit-ups.

Yah I used to just run and do push/pull-ups etc, but I am trying to gaina little size now as opposed to actually getting more healthy lol. I've ran enough for a lifetime. For now I am just trying to build some upper body strength, but when I go to GNC there's just too many products to choose from and they all claim to be the perfect one to get you ripped so I was wondering if anyone actually tried any of these.

I don't believe in gyms. People buy labor saving devices to save work, and then buy gym memberships to add work. That just doesn't compute.

Here's my proposed gym workout... Park at the back of store parking lots, and walk to the door. Take the stairs instead of the elevator/escalator, buy an old fashioned reel lawnmower(bonus for being 0 emission), build stone retaining walls/gardens from stones you've hand selected....

Stay away from supplements. If you eat a proper diet, you won't need artificial supplements that'll fail you as soon as you quit taking them.

If you follow these steps, you'll be in good shape, save money, and be healthier than any gym jock could hope to be :^)

All you need is some synthol.

Lol, yes when i'm 40 I will remember that but my goal here isn't to just be in generally good shape or burn calories. I am trying to gain some lean muscle mass, which none of your listed activities will accomplish. In the past I stayed away from supplements but i'm going to give it a try and see if anything works. If not than i'll just go back to good old water and subway sandwiches lol.

It's an injectable oil that expands the muscles.

Lol that guy looks terrible but hre's what I read on wikipedia

"Many doctors advise that the use of SEOs is extremely dangerous, if not potentially fatal, as injection into a major blood vessel can cause embolism, leading to heart attacks, strokes, pulmonary embolism and/or permanent brain damage if SEO traces find their way into cerebral vessels. Yugoslavian IFBB bodybuilder MiloÅ¡ Å arčev nearly died when he struck a vein in one of his triceps while injecting Synthol"

Lol I dunno man sounds kinda risky

Well, it's risk, is the risk with injecting anything. It's not a synthetic hormone though. I have not done it, but I find it "interesting". I do think iof one could get their diet and training in order, something like that might be an "enhancement". It's kinda pricey too, esp if you do it like it's recommended. http://www.synthol.org/

Carrying a few tons of stones, and mowing with a manual mower won't develop lean muscle mass? It'll give you a natural physique that can't be matched by gym exercise. Add some situps, pushups, and running, you'll have the perfect body. Btw, synthol's for tards. All it does is make you look like a walking freak show. The guys that use that never progressed mentally from their early teens, and use comic book characters as a prototype of what the human body should look like :^D

It sounds like Synthol is just a fake way of pumping up your muscles if i'm reading the description right. I'm already married so i'm no trying ot look all sexy, i'm trying to build some real muscle.

Moving blocks and mowing the lawn will work but I have neither a lawn nor any property to build a stone temple on lol, so I will have to wait for that one.

                              10ml Los injectors.

We could box a box of 100, and give them out to new members.
