    Podcasts

Who listens to this on a regular basis or uses them from time to time?

I'm curious. I'm new to the whole podcast thing, and I'm thinking about starting one up soon, so I'm trying to see if anyone is actually into these things.

The only one I listen to is No Agenda.

I listen from time to time and would listen if you started one. Great idea!

The few I have heard were weight loss related and it has been a while. I also used to listen to the FlyLady when she came on, but that was back when I actually cleaned my house, LOL

Never, just not a medium I have any interest in. Like reading stuff on the net, don't need anything else.

Sure, I listen to a few regularly. I like Freelance Advisor, MacBreak Weekly, The Cigar Dave Podcast, and sometimes I listen to the Gnoscast. I also make a CD for my wife's commute with 3-4 podcasts about her industry and the Morning Coach. I like listening to them while I do chores or work out. I have found that I have much better audio retention rather then visual so podcasts and audio books are up my alley.

Liandri, cost to coast podcast rocks!

But yah Roo I do, mainly while at work to pass the time, when im not listening to audio books.

I like science or politics related ones.

You all should check out the Viking Youth Power Hour, best podcast on the net, its like 5 guys in a garage drinking and it reminds me of snuson, they talk about old music, they'r real into burning man and other intiresting interesting things, they talk politics sometimes but tend to be more to the left.

If you made a podcast i'd check it out for sure!

                I LOVE PODCASTS

                Coast to Coast AM
                Alex Jones
                Stuff you should know
Stuff THEY don't want you to know
Stuff you missed in history class
Old Jews telling jokes (videos- hilarious)
                The Onion radio news
                Vintage toon cast
                WSJ
                a few others.

I have 16gig Iphone and sometimes have trouble managing to get all of what I want on it. I have to remember to manage my sync options to maximize my listening pleasure.

I have bluetooth connection to my car stereo, that's the best thing ever. I have a cable connection aux input to a radio at my desk at work. Nice.
I have a CC Radio Plus on my nightstand and aux input into that and have a pillow speaker plugged into the headphone jack.

I recently got a bluetooth speaker system for my bathroom. (was worried about aux inputting in a humid room) that is fantastic. I can leave my Iphone across the house on a table and listen to my podcasts.

I also have a pair of Motorola bluetooth stereo over the ear jumbo headphones with full audio control. Love them. I can change tracks, adjust volume, make phone calls.

                But, yeah-- I like podcasts.

There are a lot of great Podcasts out there. This year I got rid of the satellite radio because there is so much better material on Itunes for free. I listen to the classic Phil Hendrie flashbacks, the best show gems, two of the funniest show ever. Also new stuff like Comedy Death Ray and I love movies. Also some great history shows like Dan Carlin' Hardcore History and The History of Rome.

Agreed! There is a podcast out there for everybody. I also subscribed to XM in the past but have to go through trees and mountains to get to work so the XM kept fading in and out and it drove me nuts. Chad, a snuscast is a great idea and I would subscribe for sure.

For those of you who are unaware of what a podcast is just go to the itunes store and select podcasts on the top menu bar. They have everything from news to Spanish classes and its all free.
