I watched this movie called Zietgeist yesterday, and it was really interesting. The actions of the US Government and it's leaders make Hitler look like Bart Simpson.

You know i'm not a huge fan of alex jones because a lot of things he takes out of context, but I have to say that Fall of the republic really was a theatre quality movie, much better quality than Michael Moore's crapppy documentaries.

Seems like snuson for the majority is pretty much a bunch of closet republicans and radical third party people. I am not going to defend the Dems, (who I vote for) but Id pretty much take the dems over the gop anyday. We are a far way out from seeing third party power.

Lol, pretty good description. We are a far ways out from ever seeing a third party, and we may never. I wouldn't say i'd vote for the dems over the republicans though if i had to chose one, at least with the republicans they are clear about what you are going to get, war, loss of freedoms etc, with the dems they lie about it and promise and promise they won't but then do it twice as bad.

If i'm going to get robbed i'd at least like to know about it upfront, as opposed to being mugged by a close friend on your birthday.



EDIT: Also, define radical third party? I don't recall anyone saying anything radical. (Judge Faust does not count)

Maybe in 2004 somewhere I started researching Terrorists and the 200 missing nuclear suitcase bombs threat that they were pumping out on the news. Dont really recall why I but think it might of been because of Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11.
Jones and many similar figures in the non-mainstream use the term "woke up" a lot and that is exactly how I felt once I started questioning everything.

I think one of the most intersting points from the movie Fall of Republic is the rulers on top of the puppets.
Like the rapper who said if you go to Burger King and have a problem you talk to the manager but you never ever get to see the franchise owner.

I think we are closer then ever before. The GOP is pretty much a broken party although when it comes down to it there are good numbers that will back a GOP candidate whoever it is. In the last election there was a huge block that left to vote for Obama or stayed home. After Obama I think the party will also go in all different directions as it did for the Republicans.

This leaves a huge block of Independents who are generally pissed off and the perfect climate for a new begining.

Well we know one thing, the world gave the GOP a try for 8 years and they failed miserably, so then they said okay lets try the dems, and now after just a year the dems managed to waste more money and run the deficit up even higher than bush after 8 years of war, and they are too weak to even pash things through with a majority in congress, so now everyone is pissed at them, but doesn't want to go back to the republcans.

So there is a lot of independants out there that feel screwed by both parties. So we will have to see come election time.

I don't think what he said was "offensive", and it sure wasn't "to" the president, if anything it was to the white Americans, but then what he said wasn't so untrue, in that Obama had mass appeal in his appearance and speaking. In a culture that is dominated by ebonics and crime, we expect our elected officials to bring a certain level of professionalism and image with them when running for office. Obama certainly has those things, and I think that's what he ment. I don't think he implied it to be racist. But the outrage is over the fact that if a republican had said that the dems would be all over him, whereas since it was a dem who did it they are instead giving him their full support.

Yah there definately are those types who take it a little to extreme.

Libertarian is an intiresting party, because they are kind of a catch all party, where many different idologies come together and have no real organisation or management so their view of the party is very different depending who you ask.

Also, the tea parties started as an honest "protest the government" type thing but has since been perverted and used for profit. Also the dumb people seem to have taken a liking to it as well. So that movement is pretty much dead, although I agree with it's base message which is smaller government.


In the "fail/win" thread I posted the picture of the leader of the tea party movement where he has a sign saying "Congress= slave owner, taxpayer = niggar", and then the one he edited using MS paint to say "I work 4 U" that he posted on the tea party website so he didn't look racist lol.
