Yeah those candy smokes were my gateway drug...

The puff of powdered sugar you could blow out of them was my first step.

The lime green ones were the best tasting imo--they were the only ones with any taste if I recall correctly.

Man, you must have had better candy cigs than I did! Mine were just chalky sticks of sugar with a dab of red food coloring on one end. Hrmpf.

I haven't seen candy cigarettes in a store in ages, but they still sell shredded beef jerky in dip cans at the gas stations here! Oh, the children! :roll:

LOL! My little one (just turned five) smells the snus, too, but it seems to be more morbid fascination than anything. She says they all stink.

I can imagine smelling the snuff would probably not turn out so well.. :shock:

The best candy cigarettes I remember from my kidhood were actually little rolls of chocolate wrapped in paper. They were probably nasty wax-"chocolate" but I remember that I loved them. Got a pack of them, then couldn't find them anywhere ever again :O(. No Internet back then, of course. Kids these days don't know how good they've got it. Uphill, in the snow, both ways, etc.
