Excellent work Sage. You have a fine eye for colors with abstracts. I noticed that you like to work in reds and oranges...fiery colors.Stirs up one's soul, so to speak. i like this one as well.

I like the first one best. After Halloween I want to use some of the colors for my Ubuntu desktop. I'll use the color picker to get colors for my taskbar and window backgrounds.

I have always been attracted to orange, is in much of my art I do. My first car I ever owned with my ex was an orange Plymouth Arrow, I later owned an Orange Nissan 350Z, and my bike is black and orange as well

I just found the coolest thing. I upgraded my Ubuntu box to 9.10 (Karmic Koala) and upgraded VirtualBox. One thing I had never done was "Seamless Mode". I tried it out and found that if you use Ubuntu as the host and Windows XP is the guest while in seamless mode, the Windows start bar runs above the gnome panel. Additionally, Windows programs will run on the native desktop instead of the guest one. Even cooler, it supports things Wine does not like iTunes!

Here's my latest. My desk is always clean. Anything that goes on it is temporary, and only lasts a couple days tops.

Still Ubuntu 10.04. I've decided to keep 10.04 on my netbook until it dies, supported or not. I've been running a test install of Debian sid, with Xfce, and I'm digging it so far. I think that's the approach I'll be taking on my main boxes. I'm not a fan of Gnome3 or Unity,, though I'll be keeping my eye on them to see how they develop.
