The 28's are very good. But I like the cheap effect, ridiculous plot zombie movies too. I'm telling you, get a 12 pack and a copy of Hide And Creep, and you will laugh so hard it will hurt. :lol: :lol:

interesting fact about max brooks, author of world war z and the zombie survival guide, he is mel brooks' son. mel brooks of young frankenstein/blazing saddles fame.

left 4 dead is a game, but its very much like an intense zombie movie.

Oooo, I never read the first one, but the 2nd one was AWESOME! Just a bunch of short to medium length interviews with people who survived the zombie plague. Made every word sound believable.

I kinda felt like that book was more social commentary disguised as a book about zombies. I loved it, of course, but it got to me in a way that most things couldn't... people telling their stories, about those that didn't make it for whatever reason. Hard book.

Shawn of the Dead was how I introduced this all too important genre
to our two youngest. My wife doesn't buy my "but honey, it's educational"
line but I have somehow convinced her that taking the family to see
Zombieland is culturally significant. Maybe this weekend.

I watched "Shock Waves" the other night. It's a good one. Also have Hammer's "Plague of the Zombies", but haven't gotten to watch it yet.

I was bias against the Resident Evil movies, because they were nothing like the game. The games have an amazing storyline that I think could be done well in the movies.
