    Recommend A Zombie Movie

All this talk about immortality, and being a slow day at work contributed to the making of this thread.

If you like zombie movies I highly recommend Hide And Creep. It's a classic.

I really want to see Zombieland. It looks pretty epic.

Last week there was a noise in my office building that sounded like an air raid siren (I think it was a table saw). My office being in NY, my first thought was that zombies were taking over the city. My coworker and I spent the next ten minutes or so discussing how best to deal with the zombies. We figured we'd be okay for the first few days, since we could break the security card reader for the main door. That way, employees who were out to lunch and then got turned into zombies wouldn't be able to get back in. We'd have to do some serious thinking about how to get out of the building for food, though.

          Good times.

Viral zombies are fun. I liked 28 Days Later and I Am Legend (alternate ending, closer to the book).

The zombie survival guide, by Max Brooks.
                Key Points are:
                !. Organize before they rise
                2. They feel no fear, why should you?
                3. Use your head:cut off theirs
                4. Blades don't need reloading.
                5. Ideal protection= tight clothes, short hair
                6. Get up the staircase, then destroy it.
                7. Get out of the car, get onto the bike.
                8. Keep moving, keep low, keep quiet, keep alert!
                9. No place is safe, only safer.
                10. The zombie may be gone but the threat lives on.

(I take zombies way too seriously)

Oooo, I never read the first one, but the 2nd one was AWESOME! Just a bunch of short to medium length interviews with people who survived the zombie plague. Made every word sound believable.

Yeah, that's the one! Just keeps making you want to read the next one. Interviews people from doctors, to your average joe, to government insiders. Let's you see how the plague went from a "hmm, what's this" to "OMG ****ing ZOMBIES EVERYWHERE" from a million different angles, all sounding totally legit.

There's an awesome game for the iPhone 3GS (must have the compass for the best feature) called SurrounDEAD. Basically you stand somewhere and hold your iPhone in front of your face. Zombies come at you and you have to tape to shoot them...but they can come from any direction, 360 degrees. You have to spin around and look behind you, left, right, etc. while playing because you don't know where the zombies are coming from.

                          EPIC.

If you are a Zombie film fan, you have to see the classics:

                            Zombie(aka Zombie Flesh Eaters)
                            Zombie Holocaust(aka Dr. Butcher MD)
Hell of the Living Dead(aka Night of the Zombies)
