    Favorite pre "Next Gen System"

Favorite video game system before the "NEXT GEN" systems?

I loved my Super Nintendo. It had an amazing library and some AWESOME games. I remember playing NBA JAM TE with all my buddies over when i was younger and having Mortal Kombat 2 parties.

PS1. Some of the greatest rpg's were released on this system along with titles like twisted metal, vigilante 8, gex and some other's. but it is probally the most remembered system ive ever had and still own some of the games that came out on it. still play them actually..my roomate just started breath of fire 3 for like the 8th time...although the ps2 had some good titles it just didnt compare with ps1 as there isnt as many memorable games that have replay value.

I remember our old Atari. That HUGE ASS box that sat next to the GIGANTIC VCR that was on top of the GINORMOUS BETA MAX. Entertainment centers used to be built so huge, because the technology made things so friggin HUGE.

I still remember the day I got my PS1, the day it came out. Whole day was surreal. (same with N64, but PlayStation was totally something else.)

FF7 is one of those I can play over and over again. The story is rich and compelling, deep plot, awesome character development, it's unmatched even to this day.

SNES. It just had so many good games. I enjoyed the N64 as well for smash bros. mario kart, LoZ OOT. I was a nintendo guy through and through until this gen, Xbox360 is the clear winner this time.

SNES, Final Fantasy II (US name)...that game rocked so much. Rydia, Cecil, Rosa...man, that game was the shit.

NES of course was great too. I have an NES USB controller which is awesome.

You guys can play most of these games whenever you want on a psp. I put custom firmware on my psp and have emulators for NES, SNES, Genesis, gameboy, gameboy advanced, N64(some games play ok most don't), and pops loader to play PS1 games. Its pretty sweet. Its really all I use my psp for. To me playing old great games like chrono triger,FFVII,Altered beast and so many others justified the cost of my psp.
