911 We will not forget you.

If there is any truth that has yet to be revealed then the victims, their families and the world deserves to hear it. The movement for a new 911 investigation is not going away anytime soon and is only growing in numbers.

Nice. While I'm not sure about the whole conspiracy about the government blowing up the towers, I do see why the terrorists attacked us and why they attacked what they did. I'm not agreeing to their cause by no means, but I know why they did. The War On Iraq just proved their point even more.

This was a horrible event. I don't know what happened in all details. I think anything is possible. Some arguments are very convincing. I would not put anything past anyone. I still think it's odd how there is no plane at the Pentagon but just a round hole. I know this topic has been charged with much emotion and enforced PC so it's hard to openly discuss it, and no one wants to diminish the turmoil of the victims and families.

Your right, political and religious discussions are always touchy, but SnusOn is full of adults, and while I generally steer clear of these things on the internet, lurking in the other topics showed me that despite everyones differences, we can agree to disagree. (Civilly)

I remember where I was when I heard the news. It was surreal.

i honestly hate talking about this conspiracy because i feel like people are quick to judge you for even mentioning it, but i have to say i wholeheartedly believe it. the terrorist attack is pretty likely, but i feel the conspiracy is likelier.

i also hate the word conspiracy, as no one wants to believe someone whos talking about conspiracies.

What's a better word, without the nutjob connections?

Personally, I really do not believe we landed men on the moon.

The word is used negatively so much, people associate it wrong. Same thing with the word Liberal. "those crazy liberals"

I was in Manhattan that day...Such a beautiful day until....bango everything changed! I still feel like I have psychological trauma when I think about it. Maybe, just need another snus...

I was woke up at 7:00am (which back then was early as hell) still hung over by a friend telling me to turn on the tv. I went to work at Wal-Mart that day, and all of the TV's in the store kept playing it on loop. It was really quiet there. Kinda eerie.

Did you ever see the Mythbusters episode where they debunked the theories that it was done on a soundstage? Granted, there was good reason to fake it if we couldn't make it, politically, but we were already shooting rockets and satellites into orbit, and putting one of those rockets on the moon isn't too big of a step after that.

Not trying to get into an argument, just my opinion. As I said, there would be motive to fake it, and I don't particularly trust the gov't or media, but I think it's a stretch.

I saw the official "debunker" stuff, but I am not convinced.

This info is from before the net, but I find the best website is:

                        moonmovie.com

It has loads of info an videos.

I'm just not convinced we went.
We can't even do it now. And that was 1969(or 67?). The US is also the only one that "went", yet stopped when Russia had the ability to track such a trip.

The Space Shuttle can only go just past 200 miles up, because of the deadly radiation, yet the moon is like 250,000 miles away.

The evidence, to me, favors we didn't go.
                        I wasn't there, I could be wrong, but that's what I think.

Didn't Buzz Aldrin punch some guy in the face when they said it was a hoax? lol, makes me laugh picturing it. Plenty of evidence for both arguments. Like you said, we'll never know because we weren't there.

I just recently saw a video of the first guy in space. He went in a balloon and parachuted back down. He had a camera on him when he jumped out. Like, he was in f*cking SPACE and just jumped back down to earth. He fell with no wind resistance for something like 5 minutes before he hit atmosphere. THAT's unbelievable.

Surely it was inevitable that I would come rant on this thread as well. lol, i'm sure everyone is getting pissed with my bringing heated political threads to snuson.

But Tom, while I was also a subscriber to this for a while. I have to say. The evidence is just to vast that we were there. I mean they left things on the moon, we obviousely are still continuing space flight today as well, and a new manned mission is being planned even today. I can get into conspiracies too, but this one has only evidence which has been fully debunked.

I always think NASA is hiding shit from us and I am a firm believer in ET's, but even I have to call BS on the "we didn't even go to the moon" theory. Theres just too much evidence that can't be faked, because it is sitting on the moon lol.

If I went to the moon and some kid said we didn't I would burn whatever building I was in down in a fit of rage. But I saw that video too!!! DUDE! ****ing insane. He sky dived from low ****ing orbit man it was insane. Could you imagine the fear of even being up that high, let alone jumping kneese to the breeze out of a baloon to the ground???
