I like the Beatles, but not a huge fan. I have a couple of CDs. I like George, and have some his CDs. I like the Rutles.

I have only heard a little bit. What I did hear I thought was well done.

I like the Beatles, but I feel like they get a lot more credit than is warranted. They were very skilled, innovative composers, yes. They thought up some incredibly goofy stuff in the studio to do what they wanted sound-wise, but I know all too many people who act like The Beatles were the pinnacle of music. I had a Chemistry lab last year, where one kid across the bench from me brought his Mac to class every day, and played the Beatles. I also lived across the hall from him, where he blasted them until four in the morning. Add to that a father who played The Beatles or The Kinks almost exclusively, and I'm kind of burnt out on them.

I go through a Beatles kick at least once a year were all I will listen to is them. I go through a few kicks every year. A Pearl Jam kick in the mid summer, A Lawrence Arms/Alkaline Trio kick in the cold winter. My wife hates it.

Yes the Beatles are the BEST. And you didn't have to grow up with them to realize it. The sound quality on their albums was superior to all else at the time. I think they led the way in the studio. BTW, I just heard that they broke up. What a shame.

I was skeptical when I first heard about it, but when I finally did, it was amazing.

The part that matters to me is, in their later years, they were doing such fabulous experimenting with music, with sound. So many things they were the ones to push that envelope.

yea.........when I was younger I gave George H., Carlos S. and Joe S. lessons on how to play guitar properly. Seems they picked it up ok. Dam kids never listen to everything ya say tho.

Oh yeah big time. I too will go on kicks and want to listen too someone almost exclusively. Lately it's been The Dead, before that a lot of WILCO. I'm sure another Beatles kick isn't too far down the long and winding road....
