Anyone been playing something cool, new or old that they'd like to recommend?

Bully Scholarship Edition - Actually a pretty fun game; think grand theft auto minus guns plus wedgies and stink bombs.

Lego Star Wars II - If you're into star wars you will more than likely enjoy this game.

Call of Duty 3 - Older one, but very good IMO.

Mirror's Edge - Very unique game, very fun to play and look at.


Edit : I can't wait for the new Fallout game. Haven't been this excited about a new release in a while.

Yah I played the first bully game on either PS2 or xbox, I forget which one had it but it was pretty cool!

Already have COD3 and mirrors etc, both great games, but the legos ones never really caught my attention. I have lego indiana jones that came with my box but I only played like one level.


And fallout new vegas is going to be epic. Literally I might take days off work lol.


Hey has anyone played Metro 2033 yet? Looked kind of cool but it seemed like one of those games you'd want to know someone who's played it first.

I bought it for my daughter for xmas. You can find it through /other/ channels, but I like supporting small development shops. Where can you find a game that doesn't have DRM, and supports Windows, Linux, and OSX? Those guys are alright, and I want to encourage other devs to do the right thing.

I just went to gamestop and bought some sweet used games for 15$ a piece:

Fairytale Fights
Resident Evil 5
Sega Genisis Collection
Hitman

and for 30$ I got GTA liberty city stories with the ballad of gay Tony.

And the wife is going to be out all week at a conference.

That machinarium game reminds me of another game with a similar concept I played when i was younger. I love this gnere of game, so simple, yet kind of a puzzle. Great for kids, helps em think.

I'm surprisingly enjoying ff13 much more than expected. Sure, the game couldn't be more linear, many of the characters are annoying as is much of the storyline, but the battle/leveling system may have more depth than any of the previous titles, taking away much of the tedium and increasing the challenge a bit

Alls I know is Resident Evil5, and Hitman:Blood money, was the best 20$ I ever spent. These games are both awesome.

I put Hitman in my 360 for a first play through tonight (got it a few months ago) started playing the intro movie and froze. Turned it off, waited a few mintues, turned it on, froze on the 360 title screen, turned off and waited again, tried one more time, and there it is, the RROD. Luckily my warranty is still good until may. Quite frustrating though, second time it's died on me. :evil: :cry:

Lol wow man that sucks. I love xbox and am definitely a fanboi but to spend $300 on something that only lasts for a year or two seems like a waste. I've gone through 3 xbox's so far and am waiting night and day for mine to RROD. Hitman rocks though, you can decide how you want to assassinate people and it's really challenging (at least for me).
