Wow looks like they may have finally revived the mortal combat franchise. I'll probably rent it but it looks pretty badass!!!

Just got my copy of Mortal Kombat 9 for Xbox 360 on friday. It's a great game, probably the best fighting game ever made.
And I am a huge street fighter series fan.
Check out the HD review on MK:

I'm getting the same feeling. I haven't finished 3 yet but so far it doesn't have the same feel that the second or the first did. When i got Fable 2, i couldn't stop playing it. It hasn't been that way with 3 so far.

sgreger, its basically a whole 'nother game as far as I can tell so far. You do all sorts of missions, strangers, extras, etc etc just like in regular RDR, working your way to, and through Mexico, and back. Havent got real far yet, but already have a few hours in (so to me was worth the 15.99 or whatever I paid for it)

Hey is Red Dead Nightmare good? Is it a big expansion or just a small DLC? I hadn't heard anything about it but i'm about to do another playthrough of RDR but wasn't sure if the Nightmare thing ended up being good or sucking. Is it worth it?

I've gotten a few games lately now that my PC is able to handle some newer games; i missed PC gaming.

    Recent acquisitions include:

    Fable 3
    Portal 2
    StarCraft 2
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1 & 2

So far i've spent the most time on modern warfare 1 and starcraft.

Still working on Fallout: New Vegas. I beat the game once, and I still have 3 endings to play through. It's a great game, but it's very glitchy.

LA Noire looks good. I think I'll get it as soon as I'm done with this game.

I know I'm a little late to the game, but I got a new PC, and I've been playing Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. I like them so much I bought the novels set in the ME universe. Pretty awesome!

I think I'm going with Lego Pirates next. Something to just chill with, and get some easy chievos.

It's a quick game. You can finish it in a day if you play straight through. It's definitely different and it probably is one of those games you either love, hate or ignore. I like it though. I had been wanting to check it out since it was released and just happened upon a copy.

I got Portal a few weeks ago but only played it once. Awesome game but I just havn't had time. I like puzzle games a lot, but i'm also really into Fable II right now (which is better than Fable 3 which I played first, if you ask me). Then I gotta finish the Fallout:NV DLC I started and then I want to replay Borderlands.

I bought Mirrors edge and only played like the first 4 levels and never picked it up again. Seemed cool but I guess I wasn't that into it, I should probably give it another try.
