You're an addict, you're an addict... there is no replacements... they are infact drugs, no matter which way you look at it you're going to have a dependency. I am in the middle of a relapse myself with alcohol and other substances.

Have you tried seeking a support group? NA and AA are excellent support groups, find a sponsor and work the steps. It works for a lot of people, I have met some awesome people with a lot of clean time from these meetings.

      cj, you surprise me sometimes.

hey badfish, just keep your eye on the marble, not on the hole. your wife and child are above everything, i know you know that. that knowledge will cool your jets and you won't go back to the ass blasting you have done. you're wiser now. all things in moderation.

You know you better than anyone else does, just be careful man :^)
I wanted to run lxskllr’s advice back out there. I think it is by far the best I have read thus far (this is not a slight against the other posts. I just think lxskllr put what so many others have said in a compact and concise manner).

Remember, there is only one lord of the ring and he does not share power.

In other words, be very careful trying to manage something that seeks only to master you.
