I downloaded it when it first came out. I love the album so much I'm regretting not buying the actual physical CD! It does have a couple of filler tracks, but the really standout tracks make-up for it, i.e. Prayer, Rebirth, Satan-Prometheus,etc...Originally posted by bill77.017 View PostRebirth, by Gorgoroth, excellent track. This album is Brilliant, it,s one of my favorite cds. Have you heard the whole album NonServiam? Satan - prometheus, is another excellent track.

Yeah, you can't understand what the hell they're saying, but I pay more attention to the actual music and atmosphere then the vocals with these guys. Their best albums IMO were The Slaughter of Innocence and Dark Requiems.Originally posted by bill77.017 View PostThese guys are good, gonna check them out!!!
Currently listening to Beacon, off Enslaveds new cd, Axioma Ethica Odini. (can,t get enough of this album at the moment)
I agree with you on the new Enslaved album. I picked up a few CD's this weekend, Enslaved's Axioma was one of them.
I also (with embarassment) picked up Dimmu Borgir's Abrahadabra. Like most Dimmu fans, I really like their old stuff so much better and a few songs from Puritanical. But Abrahadabra is not a bad album, not great, but better than In Sorte Diaboli.

Yeah, there is a croony Danzig thing going on there. I'd say even some of the riffs follow a Danzig structure. BTW, what ever happened to your Kosmokrater, I know it was a slightly different style than Astrum.Originally posted by tom502 View PostThanks. I was kinda inspired by Danzig when I did it.

Kosmokrater still exists, I have an album for this year, been out. Did 2 last year. I'll make a new one when the mood hits me. But still waiting to get the new Astrum CD out, I'm getting tired of waiting on this cover art. Me and Lord Riktor has been working on a project called Inferniti, and have just finished recording a 5 song ep. There is a myspace up but I don't know the link, he does the vocals on that. I may have posted the myspace link, but it should be listed on the Astrum myspace http://www.myspace.com/themightyastrum in the friends section, Inferniti.

I think I remember listening to a track from Inferniti....I remember I liked it, and it struck me as Industrial (Ministry style) Black Metal, unless I'm thinking of a different one.Originally posted by tom502 View PostKosmokrater still exists, I have an album for this year, been out.
