    Snusophile's Birthday Present (maybe?)

Asked my wife this morning, "pretty please, can I have it?"

She said "I'll think about it"

Here it is anyway, *crosses fingers*

Oh, and here's the link for specs:

Have you fired one of those things before? The recoil is well . . . not all that fun.

This gun is advertised as having a very low recoil, interestingly. What matters is the eight inch hole I leave in the burglars chest. I'll worry about the sore wrists and arms later.

The low recoil is relative. The weight and sheer size does tame it somewhat, but it's still more than a full house 44 magnum. You will notice something happened in your hand. I'm pretty sure something happened in my pants when I lit the first shot off.  Not a gun you will shoot 100 rounds at a range session.

Heh, well the ports make a little bit of a difference. I was also looking at the 500 but I think that would be a bit overkill. Good stopping power these both have, and excellent big game guns. My Glock 20 was feeling lonesome so I decided he needed a big brother for direction. Looks like the 460 will be my birthday present this year after all.

USP tactical you lucky dog! I had the standard USP45 and it was a joy to shoot. Bit hard on the wallet to buy rounds for though!

I can't even imagine the recoil from a revolver of that caliber.

I say if it makes ya happy, go for it snusophile! That thing looks sharp with the ported barrel! I'm a big fan of the S&W revolvers, but not so much their autos.
