    Judge Faust: Invitation to Debate...

I know I just said I'd stay away from anything controversial, but in this case I can't help myself...

I looked at some of your posts and they're quite... opinionated (for lack of any other word than condescending).

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The first two parts of this diatribe are self-serving Conservative propaganda. Think about it: why would old age make one a Republican? Is a person automatically "brain[less]" because he:
    1) Does not believe in fascist imperialism.
    2) Does not believe in invisible cloud dwellers.
    3) Does not believe that abortion is a big deal.

    ??? I think not.

Your final point is blatantly ignorant. Cynical pessimism may be cute and trendy, but it has its limits. Would you honestly prefer anarchy?

PS: I am sickened and disgusted by the sheer number of people identifying themselves as "Libertarians." Once again, it is a very cute philosophy. Unfortunately, it is also moronic. Question: where do you think you idiots would be without government-inspected food, water, and medication? Answer: probably rotting in the ground. You people do not think well.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

You pick the topic and the side you'd like to defend. Anything you want.

I've never considered myself to be Libertarian but today I've been thinking government has been impinging on my rights as a free thinker...

    Any topic you want...

I elected not to vote on this one because the debate hasn't gone down yet. If this does go down, it should rival the OK Corral!

The reason I am a libertarian is because the far left wants big government and wants everything to be PC and uber-regulated and ran by FEDGOV which we have seen fail many times in history. The far right, althougha better choice than far left does not leave much room for advancement as they often times arent as into science etc which is a huge part of moving forward in the world. Also, BOTH sides always favor the large corportaion (which are necessary and not always evil) but whether tis giving corporate welfare or the goverment giving free money to general motors etc it is bad.

I believe most americans are in the middle, some are right of center, some are less, but its the fringe left and the far right that seem to always get the mic when it comes to public debate, they just talk louder than us normal people.

Libertarians do not believe there should be NO government despite what many seem to believe, that would be anarchism. Its just that the consittution makes it very clear that the states were supposed to decide majority of the rules and that the FED GOV was only really tasked with organizing the nations defense force and handling foreign relations. Now it is the opoosite where the FED GOV wants to control everything and be final word, and standardize all states to have the same rules. This wont work because america is too diverse a group of people.

          my 2 cents.
