I'm all for eliminating the federal reserve and income tax. The government shouldn't be able to take my money before I even see it.

As far as social programs go, I think we should cut our military funding drastically and just spend whatever we need to protect our borders from foreign nations. This includes shutting down our military bases in other countries. We should also legalize and tax all drugs. The government shouldn't be telling us what to do with our bodies anyways. With all the money left over we should focus on free health care and education for every single one of our countries citizens. No one should be excluded. Every single American should be fed, healthy and educated.

Also, multiply NASA's budget by 20 and let's stick Old Glory in every damn solid surface in our solar system and use the technology from this research to further help mankind and to break the god damn light barrier.

So I really don't know what option in the poll to pick.

There's nothing wrong with being young and idealistic, not to mention full of opinions. And I wasn't slagging you for your age, but your post was almost exactly something I would have written when I was 16, 17 years old. That's why I was curious as to how old you were, it wasn't a put down by any means, nor do you have to answer the question.

I'm pretty much with you, joshua. That to me is a basic set-up for a thriving nation. I'd also put a shitload of ex-military money into exploring the mind and kicking off a new enlightenment. The West has a couple thousand years of catch-up to do regarding the fundamentals of mind, the inextricably bound counterpart to the material universe.
