Maybe not that color scheme... but definitely the car.
have you seen the RMR Genesis?

Not a fan of the huge spoiler or the open mouthed front end but I bet that thing can perform on the track.

LOL, sure thing!! Though you might also have to add on watering my 20 acres of gardens, cleaning my concert hall, and stocking my lake with fish.

In all honesty though, with avoiding the 1.5 million pricetag, this is the car I really want to own someday.

A Mitsubishi Eclipse? IMO, they lost their luster when they stopped producing them with the 4G63T. The GT has some decent power but many NA 4 bangers can take them easy in a straight line.

I'm not a fan of the new styling or the even last generation for that matter (2000-2006). I almost bought a 99 Eclipse Spyder before I found my Sentra.

My next car will be a Subaru STi.

On thing that I personally don't like are hatchbacks. They just don't do it for me. It doesn't matter who or what makes them, just not my thing at all.

That said, the 2009 Subaru STi makes me sad. I don't care what the figures are for performance, I just can't get over it being a hatchback. It's not too bad once you get it with the larger spoiler and set it up for rallying, but meanwhile... meh. I really like the 2007 body style over the new one a lot more either way though.

You know, I'm surprised no one's said anything about owning a Corvette Stingray... the 1969 model was pretty sexy.

I should've specified my next choice in STi. It WILL have to be 2004-2007. My favorite body style if the 04-05. I didn't like the 06-07 front end at first but it really has grown on me.

The reason I choose the STi is because the 6 speed can handle a lot more power than the 5 speed found in the WRX. I am not one to keep my car stock and baby it around where ever I go and I love the occasional track days whether it be quarter mile or a NASA HPDE event.

I agree with you on the new hatch though. Ugly as ****, no doubt. Reminds me of the Pontiac Azteca. The sedans are not that bad looking but again it may have to grow on me. The completely redesigned front end just doesn't do it for me.

I'm opposite of you guys. I love my Saabaru wagon, and prefer the STI hatch to the sedan variation. I love having a modded wagon that is a total sleeper.

I'd take the STi Hatch over the sedan any day. FOr one, I prefer hatches, but more importantly, the wagon has a better all around weight distribution which is pure WIN for auto-Xing.

Melly mel, check out my post at the top of page 2, that's my Saabaru. I can post more if you want, just let me know.

Also Xobe, props to the Hatch/Wagon fans! They kick total ass. Nothing like a sleeper that's fast, and can still haul dogs/gear, and be a practical car. Fast grocery getters FTW! I'm a musician, so a gear hauler is a must, and a sedan just doesn't cut it. Also, as you said, weight distribution is key for things such as Auto-X.

Right now I am driving an el-cheapo Hyundai Accent GS Hatch 5-speed. Bought it when I was making $8 an hour after losing my job in FL and moving to GA. Still bone stock with no plans to mod.

My car before this one was a 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege putting roughly 210hp/200lbtq to the wheels on 7lbs of boost, front mount, hard pipes, HKS SSQV, Thermal R&D cat bypass pipe and 3" exhaust, Greddy timer & profec spec B controller. (did a voluntary repo on this one when I lost my job in Tampa. I miss it greatly)

Before the mazda, I was driving a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3: Full Xenon body kit, S2 spoiler, Blue kevlar weave hood matched to my paint, Carbon door rails, A & B pillars, 4-2-1 race headers, borla 3" exhaist, 3" MAF, 80mm Throttle body, Jackson racing Roots blower @ 5lbs, and nitrous. Car had the very first ever Performance Automatic brand prototype transmission. Kosei K1 lightweight wheels, Ford SVT Focus Interior... THere were more mods but I cant remember all of them. Got greedy w/ the nitrous one day at the track and blew the engine into tiny bits. Parted the car out to friends, dropped a new engine into it and sold it to a friend.

My passion for racing is Solo-1 open-track and Solo-2 auto-x. I will hit the strip just for fun, but I enjoy turning the wheel far more than just shifting and launching.

Nice. I haven't hit auto-x yet but I do run NASA HPDE. Have one in a few hours as a matter of fact. Hopefully this rain let's up so I can run my Hoosiers. It's been a few months since I've been on a NASA course so hopefully I still remember how to drive. Lol.

Yeah, quarters are fun. We usually roll with a group of 10-20 cars and challenge each other within the group. No more street racing for me. Haven't done so since I left Cali.

I dynoed my car at 233whp/258wtq. Decent power but I want more and I refuse to boost this car. Here's my mod list.

I'm thinking about bumping it up to a 100 shot but I would need a Walbro 255. I may do it after I get my SSI-4 so I can tune it all.
