I like Rocky Patel but have always been more a Padron and Romeo y Julieta fan myself. Especially maduros... mmmm. Now if I had the friggin time to smoke a 45-75 min stogie I'd gladly have one this weekend.

Interesting comment from someone who enjoys putting large cylindrical objects in his mouth while in the company of other men. Just sayin'.

Patel is easily my favorite cigar maker. I know some think the Decade was overrated at a 95, but I love it! Probably the best Cigar I've ever smoked. The Edge is a great smoke, the OWR is amazing, I haven't had one of his cigars I didn't fall in love with.

I actually really enjoy those Idian Tobac classic cigars as well. I have 2 more Decades (toro) in my humidor, and yes, they are awesome.

The Edge series is good. Personally I like them better than any of the Decades I've smoked, but that might be because those were fairly fresh from being shipped. Nothing beats the Padron 1964 Anniversary Maduros I've had, though, and the RyJ Reserve Maduros.

Yeah, I love Rocky Patel. Smoked a 1992 something the other day...it was great. But then again, I love Acid cigars too and I know alot of hardcore cigar smokers hate um. But damn, the Acid Liquid is just so damn good with a beer.

I thank snus for being able to enjoy cigars. When I was a cigarette smoker, I couldn't smoke cigars properly and, thus, never fully understood them. I would drag way too often and sneak inhales.

snus got me off the smokes so that i could learn what real smoking is all about.

Dude, Acids were some of the first cigars I ever had. The Blondie was my mainstay for a while since the flavor was nice and it fit the amount of time I could smoke before having to deal with papers. And the Atom O Maduro was just awesome. Then came along Arturo Fuente...

Acid cigars were my bridge between gas station cigars, and premiums. It's really a generational thing IMHO. When I'm having a smoke at a cigar shop, I always hear the old guys bitch about how Acid's are ruining cigars. But a lot of people around my age (mid 20's) got their start with 'em, and appreciate them on occasion as I do. Drew Estate does make premium cigars with quality tobacco, as they have shown with their unflavored Chateau Real line, and have proven that they aren't just masking an inferior product with nice flavors.

Definitely couldnt taste the cigars as well when I smoked. I was thinking that the other day.

I noticed that since I've drastically cut back on smoking cigars, when I do smoke I taste the flavors so much more. Now I know why I was always finding a stronger cigar too.
