On Topic: Snus Convention.

I am going to on the task of organizing this event. It will be in vegas, I am not sure of the time or place or any of that. But, I need people who are seriously willing to help organize the event.

Let's keep this thread on topic about the Snus Convention.

My ideas are to get reps from the leading snus brands to attend. To raise the funds needed to rent the facilities we will use. To figure how much lead time we will need. Any ideas of what would make this an informative/fun convention please let me know. Obviously, this is just an idea kicking around in my head right now. But, anyone who has serious input or help, let's talk.

i am willing to help you with anything concerning a convention. i will refrain from goofing around in this thread. i think a snus convention would be great. p.m. and let me know any way i can help. i have plenty of time on the weekends to scout out places, and can round up any info you need here in vegas.

If this starts generating a lot of interest, we should consider holding it all at one hotel. That way we can get group room rates and we can rent a conference room for socializing and merchandizing - we could even sell vendor's licenses and charge a modest registration fee to cover the costs.

IMO we should have it in the fall, since that will allow those in the colder states to have a nice respite in the desert, and would allow plenty of time for planning. Any earlier might be hard to do.

I'm big on the SnusCon idea, but I think we should do two: an East Coast and a west coast. I would love to come, but being in the military and stationed on the east coast, I can't just traipse out to vegas; even with some decent planning. At least not this far into the future.

Any takers on the double Con idea?

Don't forget about us Midwesterners! Hell, snus was invented in the Midwest by Swedish immigrant farmers...

Chicago would be a great place to have it, since many members live in or nearby. Or we could be really hardcore and have it on Snus Hill...
