One forum I used to post on, I kid you not, had a thread called "post for an extra post", and it was filled with the most random nonsense you could imagine. The owner deleted it after several years of accumulating hundreds upon hundreds of pages of posts of utter rubbish. "Special" kids in that place, I tell you :lol:

My motorcycle forum has a thread called post whore thread just for that purpose. Over time, it evolved into posting something or an image with the reply number in it.

We just went over 2100 posts now. Some strange images posted in that thread :lol:

We have another thread that is now even longer called the Song Game thread. You are supposed to post a song that has at least one word the same from the previous song posted. That thread is now up to 3000 posts.

Given that 90% of the folks on the forum aren't riding through winter, gotta have something to post about, other then complaining about how cold it is. :lol: :lol:
