I've been a kick of 80's movies the past month.

Just saw Near Dark (1987) last night. Great hitchhiker/ vampire movie. Even if the ending goes a little lame.

    I also recommend Felon (2007) I think.

I do not know how anyone can like the Bourne Identity or No Country for Old Men. The Bourne Identity may be good as a movie on its own merits but it is nowhere near the quality of the book(s). The main antagonist is completely missing from all the movies, making it a shit-balls movie series. Where is Carlos, the main reason that Jason Bourne was effen created in the first place!!!? Thumbs down, even if the movie or series of movies is "exciting". Call it something else beside the Bourne Identity. No Country for Old Men was killer for the majority of the movie. The build up to what I thought would be a suspenseful, intriguing ending was destroyed by some dumb ass thinking "what would be the best way to screw this movie up?" From what I heard, this movie does not match the book very well at all. The spin from some people that liked the movie state that we never really knew if the cowboy was killed. Who cares? When the supporting actor all of a sudden takes over the whole movie at the end and ponders why he was ever in law enforcement in the first place. It was a real downer.

Movies that I have felt that warrant a 5-star rating that I watch at least once a year: Casablanca, The Sound of Music, As Good As It Gets, Godfather part 1, Manchurian Candidate (the original), and of course Citizen Cane.
