    Employee Notice

WARNING: This joke contains political humor - if you're offended by political humor, STOP READING NOW!

    Notice to all Employees:

As of November 5, 2008, when President Obama is officially elected into office, our company will instill a few new policies which are in keeping with his new, inspiring issues of change and fairness:

    1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give those of you who are underachieving a “fair shake.”

    2. All low level workers will be pooling their wages, including overtime, into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst yourselves. This will help those who are “too busy for overtime” to reap the rewards from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.

    3. All top management will now be referred to as “the government.” We will not participate in this “pooling” experience because the law doesn't apply to us.

    4. The “government” will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week, encouraging it's workers to continue to work hard “for the good of all.”

    5. The employees will be thrilled with these new policies because it's “good to spread the wealth.” Those of you who have underachieved will finally get an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel more “patriotic.”

    6. The last few people who were hired should clean out their desks. Don't feel bad, though, because President Obama will give you free healthcare, free handouts, free oil for heating your home, free foodstamps, and he'll let you stay in your home for as long as you want even if you can't pay your mortgage. If you appeal directly to our democratic congress, you might even get a free flatscreen TV and a coupon for free haircuts (shouldn't all Americans be entitled to nice looking hair?)

    Thank You,
    The Government

Thats not just a joke though, it is the actualities of what he wants to do.

Except for the communist is going to do it with an entire country. Uninformed people should not be allowed to vote.

Now, for good measure, here is mine:

        My friends,

Last night was an incredible victory over socialism of all sorts. To celebrate the victory of John McCain over Barack "Hussein" Obama, we are announcing some changes here at work. They are as follows:

        1. Being the owner of this large company, I am taking over the two closest parking places to park my new Hummer. The new tax breaks on corporations will do me, err us well!

        2. It is expected that everyone does their time in the armed forces. You may not have a famous father and graduate almost last in your class, but each one of you can help with the war effort. If you can't go due to physical disabilities, I expect each of you to support our great leaders wife's business by drinking more Bud light beer.

        3. In the unfortunate event that you are not a Christian, you have the choice to either convert of be fired. This is now a requirement for working here and there will be a test each week based on versus from the Gospels. If you fail a test, you will have to flail yourself 30 times and stand outside on a corner and witness to passerby's for 2 hours, on your own time.

        4. You must add "my friend" to your verbage used on sales calls. Don't worry about us tracking this, Verizon already does it for us. (Woops, cat out of the bag there!)

        5. if you are a female employee, you must wear dresses, a head cover and do up your hair in a modest manner. Winking is expected, along with jokes about animals, moms and lipstick. Feel free to use your imagination here.

        6. Don't even think about unionizing this shop.

        7. Congratulate Frank, our in house maintenance guy. Since he does a little plumbing work here, we are changing his name to Joe.

        8. Don't forget to change your tax deductions since the company contribution part of your health care is now taxable. We wouldn't want you to owe at the end of the year. On second thought, scratch that, I'm sure the government wouldn't mind getting you in the ass twice without a reach around!

Thanks and let's enjoy the vast prosperity to come!

        Your Friend,

        CEO Joe

        (**disclaimer**)

        I'm Christian
        I'm fiscally conservative
I won't say who I will vote for
Lastly, this was a lame late night attempt at humor. I only posted it because I was bored :P

Barry does want to spread the wealth around, that is exactly what he said in his own words, many times.

Of course this leads to those "evil" rich people not working as hard because more will be taken out, it is just punishing success.

Barak says and I quote "the economy is built from the bottom up". So if that is true why doesnt every nation with massive amounts of poor people have a booming economy.

And if socialism works, why do people from Europe want to move to the US at a much higher rate than people from the US to Europe? Because of the American dream of becoming succesful by creating wealth for yourself. This is how we have become the great nation we are and inspire people to become educated and to take risks to better thier own position.

The single question that needs to be asked is... Would your rather live in the poverty level or make 1/4 million a year? If you answered the latter, as I am sure 99% of people would, then you should be able to understand that people have achieved this by working hard for an education and working hard to move up the lader in thier business. Dont punish these people for doing what you desire to do.

Barry stands for nothing the American dream was built upon. He stands for special agenda, which is the lift the African American community as high up by using other peoples money. And yes I said it. I want the African Americans and all other poor people to live exactly as they dream to, but dont do it by taking someone elses dream from them. His agenda is actually boardering between socialism and communism.

As for not allowing uninformed people to vote... thats easy... pop quiz!

                @rollinred...

I don't know you and ordinarily I don't make assumptions, but based on what you've posted, I'm willing to make an exception. That said; I'm not a Democrat. I'm not a Republican. I try to consider the whole picture and its independent and inter-dependent parts in order to be able to objectively assess the issues and choices confronting me.

I'm familiar with both candidates. I'm more than aware of their accomplishments and their histories. I listen to Obama address issues and I listen to McCain address (mostly) Obama's shortcomings. I listen to the propaganda from both sides and the media.

More importantly... I try very hard to be objective and I believe that I've learned to think for myself (at least most of the time). I remember when Kennedy was elected president, and though I didn't know much then, I've been alive for more than fifty years and so I let my own life's experience and knowledge gleaned over that time, determine the direction of my own political point of view.

I've seen and experienced the ups and downs of life in ways other folks can only pay lip service to, but haven't really lived. I don't need any lessons from you, at least not yet. Don't tell me how it is. Maybe when what you post has more substance to it other than the nonsense and rhetoric that I've read so far. If I want propaganda I can put on my TV and at least get a more coherent version than yours. Maybe when you stop spouting the party line. Maybe when you learn to think for yourself.

...And that's how the fight started :!:

Propaganda can not be truth. His policies have already been attempted. Look at Michigan, raising taxes on high dollar earners has only led to more unemployment and a certain recession in this state. I live in Michigan and I know for a 100% fact that those crap tax policies are a destructive force and not constructive.

Truth is in facts and in history, proven in history is the ultimate shortcoming of Obama, his economic policies that will only hurt Americans.

The more you continue along with this the more I'm convinced; You really don't see this all in context. Let it go...

I'm reminded of a famous quote that's been attributed to numerous authors, among them; Mark Twain, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and also Abraham Lincoln.

"BETTER TO REMAIN SILENT AND BE THOUGHT THE FOOL... THEN TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH, AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT!"

                        Take the lesson.

Hey bmwgsa, your joke left out one:

A comment box will be provided for employees to voice their concerns. Questions that require possible answers that will make the government look bad will quickly be disregarded and the offenders will be silenced.

*The recent news of the Wash. Times kicked off the Obama plane, due to 'limited seating,' prompted my above thinking.

Wow, he wants to raise the top bracket back to where they were when Clinton was President, The Socialist!!!

                              Reagan Bush Clinton

                              All
                              Lowest Quintile 09.05 08.35 06.33
                              Middle Quintile 18.03 17.70 17.13
                              Highest Quintile 23.51 25.30 27.70
                              Top 1% 28.60 29.55 34.66

Posted above are the tax tables as they were from Reagan through Clinton. See the trend?? By Clinton's time, the poorest were paying less, the richest were paying more. And I seem to remember that America had one of the longest runs EVER of a strong economy under Clinton. I was managing a Call Center in fact here in Raleigh in 1998, and I remember vividly Raleigh unemployment rate was less than 1% What is it today??? So I guess Clinton's Socialism really sucked for the economy, didn't it??

And for those that think I would ever cook my numbers, here is the link from which the above numbers come from.
