DOCTOR WHO RECENTLY RETURNED FROM AFRICA TESTS POSITIVE FOR EBOLA (103 fever)
A doctor who recently traveled from West Africa has tested positive for the Ebola virus at Bellevue Hospital.
BREAKING NEWS - INFORMATION BELOW WILL BE UPDATED SHORTLY
Sources have identified the patient as Dr. Craig Allen Spencer, 33, who was working with Doctors Without Borders and recently returned from overseas. He was transported through the city's EMS system and was tested for possible Ebola-like symptoms. He tested positive Thursday night.
He is an American citizen, and sources say he arrived on Brussels Airlines Flight 501 from Brussels to JFK Airport on October 17. His flight history originated in Guinea. Spencer returned within the last 10 days.
Doctors Without Borders says he had contacted their office on Thursday morning to report having developed a fever. He had been self monitoring, as per Doctors Without Borders guidelines, quarantining himself. He had 103 fever and gastrointestinal problems when he was taken to the hospital from his apartment on West 147th Street in Hamilton Heights at 11:52 a.m.

DOD Admission: Only One Plane Available to Transport Infected Soldiers Out of Africa
“The idea that you’re coming before us and giving this type of testimony raises great concerns”
(Infowars) – The US Defense Department will only have the capability to fly four service members out of Africa per week should they contract the deadly Ebola virus, a Major General said at a meeting today regarding the military’s response to the epidemic.
Speaking at a House Oversight & Government Reform Committee hearing earlier today, Maj. Gen. James Lariviere told North Carolina Congressman Patrick McHenry that the US plans to have “in the vicinity of 3,000” troops in Africa by the end of the year. - See more at: http://www.teaparty.org/dod-admissio....drysaJMC.dpuf

Ebola can survive on surfaces for almost TWO MONTHS
Ebola can survive on surfaces for almost TWO MONTHS: Tests reveal certain strains survive for weeks when stored at low temperatures
Research claims certain strains of Ebola can remain on surfaces for 50 days
It survived the longest on glass surfaces stored at 4° (39°F)
Centres for Disease Control and Prevention claims Ebola typically lives on a ‘dry’ surface for hours - including doorknobs and tables
But when stored in moist conditions such in mucus, this is extended
Survival time depends on the surface, and the room temperature
Virus can be killed using household bleach and people must come into direct contact with the sample to risk infection

Minn. African restaurant owner forced to change sign over Ebola fears
Concern over Ebola has forced a Minnesota restaurant owner who serves African food to cover up part of her sign and reconsider her Liberian-themed menu.
Kellita Whisnant has owned Mama Ti's African Kitchen in Brooklyn Park, Minn. for three years. Now that confirmed cases of Ebola have reached U.S. soil, she says business is down by about 50 percent.
“This African name that brought people in before, is now hurting me," Whisnant told Minneapolis-St.Paul's KMSP Fox9 . "We get the jokes, the ridicule."
Amid declining sales—and a customer flat out asking her if the restaurant had Ebola—Whisnant covered up the word “African” on her restaurant's outdoor sign. “Just putting that tape up there triggered emotions that I keep down, but that really hurt,” a teary Whisnant told KMSP.
But she worries the simple cosmetic change may not be enough to get customers back in her store. She has posted a notice in Mama Ti's to assure customers that her suppliers are local, despite the Liberian-themed menu. Yet with flagging sales, Whisnant is also considering changing the menu entirely.
“What could I bring in at this point to satisfy your fear,” Whisnant questions. “Will you come in and eat out of this restaurant if I sell Philly cheese? If I do jumbo wings and fries?”
The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Infectious Disease Division has started its own campaign to dispel myths about the spread of Ebola, which so far has no confirmed cases in the Midwest.

Army to quarantine all soldiers serving in Ebola-ravaged countries
Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno issued a directive late Monday that all soldiers assisting in the Pentagon’s Ebola support mission in West Africa must be quarantined for three weeks before redeploying elsewhere.
The decision to isolate Army soldiers does not mean all military personnel deployed to the region will also have to be monitored as closely. The Pentagon is examining what level of monitoring is necessary from returning soldiers, Warren said.

Gotta Love Obama - Non-American Ebola patients to be treated in US?
This report by Fox News is in Video format - VIDEO HERE. It is 2 mins 48 seconds of shocking hell.
Fox News has obtained the actual State Department documents that proposes bringing non-US Citizens to this country, and treating them for Ebola at a cost of $500,000 to $1,000,000 each (minimum). The Ebola carriers would be given a "Fast Pass" by the State Department so that they could circumvent current US laws.
