Anyone interested in this as an update fro snuson

I wish this forum, as great as it is, would have a poster ranking system.

Such as Newbie for up to 50 posts or so

and then come up with some cool other ones and when you hit 1000 posts you are a snusaholic.

Just an idea ice when you do the next updates, if possible.

That might be fun - several other forums do something like it.

With phpBB, it's just a matter of turning it on, putting in graphics and setting limits.

A persons number of posts here, have virtually no correlation to their experience. If you can't understand why, well... it would be a waste of time to explain it. Sorry... That's how I see it.

All the Elyxr haters out there, I just smile to myself and say they know not what they are missing out on. Perhaps some will see the light one day. And the rest....well the rest allow me to pick up Elyxr snus on the cheap. :lol: :lol:

to be honest robme I just see everyones opinions as their own.

I mean it in a way that i have no life and post on here all the time.

Even if someone worked for a snus company and reviewed their own products i would take it with a grain of sand.

when it comes to snus ive yet to find a review that agrees with how I see a product.

I think it would be a great idea to add a little more to the forum because the people who post here the most seem to be the most devoted to the site.

and the names wouldnt have to mean thats your experience level, it refers to how many posts you make in regards to this forum being about snus, Dont see how its that easy to misunderstand.

Everyones opinions are their own and so are tastes. The fact someone is more seasoned so to speak doesnt mean they no more about snus.

Ettan tastes like a shoe someone once wrote, someone else describes it as something else which one is right.

they all are. Each review is correct to the ones who posted it.

I think that post count rankings are fun and all, but in my experience there are some people that use post counts to belittle other posters... There will also be people that run up their post counts with frivolous posts just to appear more knowledgeable, and that will inevitably lead to arguments... IMHO, posting on forums is a lot like snus, it's quality not quantity that counts

Don't get ME started on it. From when I was very little, every single da** person would go, "I'm only Joshing You", thinking they were being funny or clever. I heard it 1000's of times, and I found it neither funny NOR clever after the 37th time I heard it.

As far as post whores, oh sign me up, sign me up. Yes I am a post whore, and would be one with or without any added glory. I just crossed 2000 posts on my motorcycle forum. I post A LOT!!

Not to impress, not to show how smart I am, LOL.

I post cause I love snus, I remember still when it was new to me, and we have a huge influx of new users that are coming to snus from Camel. I enjoy the people on snuson, and figure the best way to keep this all going is engage with just about every new person who posts. I like my high post count cause it shows the new person that the regulars do notice and care about what they post. The one thing my post count does give me is a bit of creditability. Not because I post a lot, but because people have read enough of me they have a good idea what I am about.

I'm at "Hero" level on my motorcycle board. That's cool, but I expect I would have posted just as much with out that signifier.
