I'm sure PP is just being PP and will be back with a flury with his crazy off the wall shite. Stuff comes up man and sometimes you have more pressing matters then snus banter. That said, I am looking forward to when he has the time to pop in for a little friendly banter. We love you man!

I think that is really PP's place to weigh in or not on that question not a MOD? Let's not look for excuse to take a pot shot at the Mods just because you disagree with them on the Sgreger1 ban.

The Mods read all the posts, so if they feel it is appropriate to respond they will. He clearly broke the rules end of story, he's a big boy. How long was Sgreger1 MIA, so the MODS deserve to get trashed because he decides to pop in and within literally days/hours and posts a pic that was way over the top? Nobody likes to be called out and criticized for spending countless hours for no financial gain just so we can all have a solid forum to exchange snus banter. As Sgreger1 said, he is done snusing and has made some good friends here...great, those that are truly close to him can still communicate with him.

I truly wish Sgreger1 continued success in his personal life and would welcome him back, if the Mods think it is appropriate but in the meantime I am going to back the Mods that have the overall interests of the forum at heart not an individual user.

I am just back from being away for the week and have not had time to fully respond to every thread.......so let me tie up some lose ends

PP is doing Blue Barrel inventory.........

Also Sgreger got banned while I was away.....I know this has been a hot topic...in fact a few of you Pmed me about it.....after checking in on it........ the report is that he logged onto the site frequently over the past year (though he did not post very often......I think there were a couple of days over the past few months when he posted in spurts).....thus.......the feeling higher up was that he in fact did know better than to post such pics and that regardless..... posting pics of genitalia was never permissible (under any version of the ToU....old or new).

That is where it was when I left to travel home.

I am now back home.............if anything changes....I'll let you know

Soooooo, people don't get warnings anymore? the mods just grab the ban hammer and start hitting? I agree that that type of material is unacceptable, but a warning should be issued so that the offending member can have a chance to comply, and if they commit the same offense THEN the ban hammer can be used. That seems equitable, right?

So we all get to post 1 naked pic even after we were banned/warned previously? I didn't see a get out of jail free card in the rules.

I was a mod here when the member in question was posting regularly, were you? Regardless Piks...I like you and don't want to get into a debate with you over this, it's fruitless. I will add though, that I don't believe Sgreger was one of the offenders that posted nude pics here, even if our beloved PP was occasionally known to post one or two, but he's a mod so "shhhhh"

So, yes...I think that rules should be posted, warnings should be issued, then bans should be issued. I've always been one of the mods that pushed for stricter regs, and that is why I'm no longer a mod here. Maybe I'm just pissy about this ban because of my ban and the ban of Chad not too long ago, lol.

Hey Rick, I'm not against Sgreger seemed like a funny dude. I've been around since 2010 but obviously not nearly as active on the posting side. I think the disapproval of the action taken speaks volumes that Sgregner was liked by a group of users, we all hate to see a friend go down right or wrong. Can't tell you how many times I have stood up for someone in a situation because of my personal bias/feelings towards the person then I usually turn around to the same person one on one that I was defending and say what the fk were you thinking and basically say what everyone else was saying but I will defend them against anyone else. Kinda the issue here. I am not a big believer in one strike rules but this is a forum, so one can live with the ruling and move onto probably a more constructive pursuit anyway, unlike some oppressive punishments this is just some basic rule to follow. This is a republic not a democracy not mob rule, so sure it sucks but it is life and not my call anyways.
