Funny you mention that bit about your friends. I tried to get my friends in Las Vegas to try snus. Given that they are dippers (of Skoal and Kodiak), I thought they'd be into trying snus. They looked at it and said it was too finely cut for them. I learned that they like to move their dip around their mouths too much, at times actually chewing on it (!), so I suppose snus would be a bad idea for them - they'd have a mouth full of mud! All the same, they were surprised to hear how pro-smokeless I've become.
It's nice seeing so many American users of snus on this board. It seems there are more all of the time. I'm sure you'll see more and more Aussie snussers soon. Hang in there, bro. You're hardly a freak!
