If someone that wants to learn about snus they want the snus forum informative. I'm willing to bet 90% of the members here found snsuon thru google or another search engine.

Snuson is not a small site. There are costs and atm those costs are fully paid by the owner. We figure that as time goes on those costs will increase and may become a burden on the owner so we anticipate that one day ads may be necessary. Keep in mind that 100% of the ads will be tobacco related, ie from vendors, manufacturers etc. There will never be google ads here. There won't be crap popping up and stuff. The list will be there and if you want to get to a site quickly it will be easy. We are hopeing that after this "shower and shave" the advertizers will come to us.....if the front end is cleaned up a bit they may offer snuson members special deals, samples, and such. I can imagine that they might hesitate to advertise here because of the snus threads not staying on topic and the general banter in the snus forums. We have the people and the world forum and the chatbox for that. Lets try to keep the snus forums inviting to everyone.

I've just personally never been able to tell from what board a thread is coming from. I always just use the most recent list. If i want to get one back up on the board because I have a question I just go to my recent posts to find it. Unless that is somehow reworked it just seem like a lot of work to make sure i don't get baned because i was slightly off topic in a board that may or may not allow that. Atleast once a week we are graced by a "new with questions" thread. This forum does a great job of not doing the typical "sigh use the search box there are hundreds of these threads" I just don't see who we are deterring by talking about fleshlights and blue barrels, we aren't exactly expecting the pope to become a member.

Well ... that's not entirely true is it ... one of my snus reviews from a while back recently got "promoted" to a full article without my being asked - so it would appear that we're not entirely in control of what we write and where with the status quo. I didn't have a problem with that particular case - so I didn't flag it up, but there's a huge difference between writing an off the cuff review on a forum and preparing a proper published article. I have access to proof readers :-) I just hope my spelling was up to scratch!
