I'd be afraid of being dropped off in China, and having to feed myself. I doubt I'd eat anything that didn't come from a shrink wrapped package, and preferably with a logo I recognize(hope it isn't pirated).

There is something there you wouldn't mind eating I'm sure. Raw fish perhaps?

I'm sure there's all kind of stuff, but they can't be trusted. You see shit like a red bean rolls being made with pork(is it really?) flavored cardboard(literally) in the middle. Meat could be who knows what, and their Chinese made package food kills people and animals. With me not knowing the language, I'd have to go by sight alone. The thought is terrifying. I'd rather take my chances with Mexican tap water.

Nah, that was before my time. I've never been east of the Atlantic coast, nor west of the Appalachians. I'm not very well traveled :^D

For GoVegan, I'd eat tinned fish if they didn't come from China. Maybe Portuguese sardines? I wonder if they sell them there :^/

Hmmmm. Let me rephrase the question. Would you eat at the great wall or imperial palace?

Cheese gives me the fear - all of it. From the hard waxy stuff that smells of teenagers feet, through the ones that smell like day-old vomit all the way to the disgusting oozing amorphous blobs that smell of a really stinky shit.

Given that it is not a natural food (I.e. it comes out of a cows udder - I don't think prehistoric man was trying to suckle wild cows!) - I have no idea why anyone would put themselves through the ordeal of acquiring the taste!

But it seems its just me. Everyone else is weird!

Forest honey: aphid poo (honeydew) harvested by bees, then regurgitated until it's honey. Still tasty, but what other food goes from poo to puke to the kitchen table?

As a vegetarian, everything is suspect. Labels aren't foolproof either as manufacturers can hide anything by listing natural flavor as an ingredient. In the USA, labeling requirements heavily favor the manufacturer and not the consumer.
