I use to be into archery for fun/target shooting. I moved onto guns...they're more fun and go bang! I do look forward to getting my son into all the shooting sports though. I'll start him with a bow like I did.

There is also a free range of some sort in Golden Gate Park but I haven't been to it.
Thanks for the link. I will take a look. I also heard there is a range at Lake Sonoma but it sounds a bit funky. Sometimes we camp near Lake Pillsbury and that would be an awesome spot. You can camp anywhere there and shoot guns. I don't think a bow would even be an issue.

Some people think bows and arrows should be banned here in the UK - but that's like against my human rights and if they say that to me then I just shout at them non-stop with my hands over my ears until they go away. I mean the French are only 26 miles away from us - they could attack at any time!

No no no……….if you are going to parody Americans……….. get it right

Lot's of fun. My bow is a bit too hard for me right now at 60 lbs but I think I can work up to it with practice. But yeah, I should go get one that's really set up right for me. That's the best thing to do. Just don't want to spend the money right now.

I would go for a compound, but that's me. If you want a good hunting site try world worldhuntingclub.com

It has just archery shit too and they give stuff away so all good. Otherwise there's archery talk.
