My condolences to all of you who have lost a loved one. It's a terrible feeling - I feel thankful that I haven't lost anyone in a long time but the family has already adjusted to the fact that my Grandma(basically the matriarch of the family) is about to kick it. And so is my father's parents - Not looking forward to it, but no bother worrying about it yet.

Dear LX, you have a great fan club here at SnusOn. Surely, you are are the reason half of us are still here.

Yea, its tough losing a mother but when you think about all the good things shes done and all the crap she [probably] put up with raising her kids AND if she goes without pain.....you will find that its just a bit easier to deal with than you might think. Just remember to keep telling her that you love her.

    @ BigBlue....peace brother.

My condolences Darwin. I like your last sentence. Insightful, and well stated.

Thanks for that PP. I'm not a very sentimental guy but I actually teared up during that for some reason. I will be sharing it with all my friends and family.

Thank you all for your concern. My mom was very very strong and had everything ready to go. She had made most all of the arrangements before hand. She was always so dam organized. She knew it was her time and waited patiently untill I got all of her 6 children to come and see her before she went to be with my dad in heaven. The day after they all finally showed up she passed on in her sleep. The family is slowly adjusting. I thank all my friends here for their support and concern. I still have 2 memorials to get thru yet. One in Georgia and one in Illinois.

Ya'll have a great holiday season.

    Glenn

Sorry to hear that brother. I lost my mother back in 2006, and i know it's not easy but try to be strong. As long as she's in your heart, that's all that matters! My thoughts are with you

Man, this thread is a bit of a downer but also therapeutic. I wish PP's mom a big plot in the sky and spinyeel keep the faith brother, keep your head down and plow thru it.

The cycle of life... My baby turns one tomorrow. Contemplating the day she will eventually pass is really an exercise in humility and wonder at this human experience; the joy and the sorrow of it all.

My heart goes out to all of you who have sustained the loss of a loved one this year.
    +1 ^^
